KILL ME. I CLICKED THE WRONG OPTION FOR THE FIRST ONE. My proof is I was talking about the other choice. I HAD A VERY STRESSFUL WEEK. This is worse than all my embarrassing middle school memories COMBINED. Honest to god kept me up at night this week.
So Mal spelled her name with the Scandinavian letter "Å/å", huh? That kind of thing throws me off a little, since I see it as a completely different letter. In Danish, "Mal" means "Paint" (as an imperative verb), while "Mål" means "Goal". As I write this I've just noticed how fitting it is that "Mal" means "Paint" in Danish. That's kinda fun.
@@MalMakes Yeah, it's the imperative verb "paint", like a command or request: "Paint something, please!" translates to "Mal noget, tak!" in Danish. Of course, it's pronounced a little differently. Thinking about it, I just realized another connection: Your full name, Mallory, is similar to the Danish word for a painting, which is "maleri". They're pronounced quite similarly. I hadn't noticed the connections, because my mind pretty much operates in English when I'm in an English-speaking environment (like most of TH-cam). I start thinking in English, so Danish words don't usually come to mind.
Why did Stephen answer that first question the way he did? Does he really need to have the single-player option when he can play co-op with Mal? Then he could still get the inheritance!
For the I've got blood in my stool one, was someone thinking of Whose Line when they wrote that? Because that was the first thing that popped in my head as soon as I read that and it made me laugh so much harder than I was.
I like the idea of this game, but I feel like you don't have nearly enough freedom in your answers. Like, for most of those prompts I can't imagine a different fill having any impact whatsoever on what I'd vote.
That first question made me wanna pour bleach into my eyeballs... but since the images are all in my mind that won't have an effect so I chose not to. Still, it's hard to imagine you nine doing that. Not like I wanna imagine any of you nine doing that.
Oh boy, I'd get in trouble if the Africa song happened! Not that it would be bad to sing! But um... I'm kinda a little more familiar with Translator Fails Google Translate version...
jackbox is ripping people off with their you don't know jack full stream game on ios. it's a game on a mobile device that can't be played mobile (unless you have wifi or a cellular connection which not many tablets have one which defeats the purpose of making the game mobile.) nowhere on their website or the app store does it tell you that you need an internet connection to play you don't know jack full steam. also to play on a tablet you have to switch back and forth between the web browser and the game to answer questions which involves an aggravating double tap of the home button. yes you can play on your phone but what's the point of playing it on your tablet if you need another smart device to play. i thought it would be better on pc but no you can't play it on pc at all. the game runs sure but to answer a question you have to go to your web browser to answer which is insanely stupid. who the hell wants to constantly switch back and forth between the game and their browser for every single $(%^&ing question. they even lie on the website and say that it can be played on computer. okay so technically that isn't a lie but not in a way anybody would expect it to mean when it says can be played on a computer. anyway jackbox is committing outright fraud (misrepresenting how the game is played and the requirements to play it) with this game and they are going to have lawsuits leveled against them if they don't change things. luckily i didn't buy it on pc and apple refunded me the money.
and yes i know as of today that previous versions of jackbox party pack's required internet connection and browsers to play their games but they can't just assume that people that are buying this new one have played the previous ones and knew about that restriction. a lot of people like me only got it because of you don't know jack and the last time ydkj was on a party pack was the first one and it didn't have insane restrictions like this and it could be played via keyboard.
they didn't make it at all obvious that you couldn't play on a computer keyboard during the streams. the answers are listed on the screen and people choose them. i assumed that player one was choosing the answer on their keyboard. not from a damn browser and or on a smart phone. i can see why more than two players need a smart phone to play but for a single player game is beyond ridiculous.
and i know if i get any responses to this it will be shit thrown at me for overreacting and using the f word (fraud) incorrectly. no i'm not. if i told this story to an attourney they would agree this is fraud. whether it's intentional or accidental it's fraud to not represent all the requirements to play a game. specially when those requirements make a certain platform impossible to play on for some people.
The first question IMMEDIATELY had me learning a lot
6:10 there’s two types of people:
1.) “I wanna hear more about dogs.”
2.) “IM NOT GETTING BLACKMAILED BY A DOG!”
KILL ME. I CLICKED THE WRONG OPTION FOR THE FIRST ONE. My proof is I was talking about the other choice. I HAD A VERY STRESSFUL WEEK.

I apologize for this, but....
*”all night you say? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)”*
I’m not proud, but you forced my hand.
F to pay respects
f my life
Even if you meant to pick that option, it's nothing to actually be embarrassed about. :P
Hugs for you , hope things get better. I know you don't know me in person but I'm always here it you wanna talk
Stephen's right tho! How would he know?!

Alex Larsen Last time she spelled it with a German umlaut (Mäl). I sense a pattern here.
@@seriouskano2
I guess to someone who doesn't use those letters regularly, it's not that different from something like "Dan!el"
That's so cool!! :o I didn't know it means paint! It means "bad" in french. :(

Meanwhile 'Mal' is Dutch for 'crazy'
I love the Twilight Zone homage in the beginning
The beginning of this video ruined my perception of Stephen forever.
So apparently we learned from this that Stephen like to do things to himself. :P
You're not funny
@@notveryniceatall And neither are you, so we're even.
Point is, we learned something about Stephen we were never supposed to.
"Yes, even in a nebulous void, democracy is important."
Wow the concept behind split the room is really intriguing and well, I'm impressed and really want to see more of this.
I recommend checking out patently stupid, its quite fun
“Hell no, I’m not getting blackmailed by a dog!”
so, is the cat schrodinger's cat? is that how he gets into all the different parallel dimensions?
3:03 to 4:06 needs to be a memorable moment!
Why did Stephen answer that first question the way he did? Does he really need to have the single-player option when he can play co-op with Mal? Then he could still get the inheritance!
Even when you have someone to play with, they won't always be in the mood to do so
I think Stephen was more confused on the context of how the father who may or may not be dying soon knows he's playing the flesh flute
I just realized what you meant... thankfully I made it to the toilet
4 minutes in and this is already amazing. we're learning quite a lot.
For the I've got blood in my stool one, was someone thinking of Whose Line when they wrote that? Because that was the first thing that popped in my head as soon as I read that and it made me laugh so much harder than I was.
Uhhh so that first queston right off the bat was way more than I wanted to know about any of the people who hesitated... LOL.
This is an interesting concept for a game, I like it a lot; I also really loved seeing what responses you all have , this was hilarious.
4:11 Oh my God, it's like that one scene in Shin Ultraman but in reverse! I don't want Alien Mefilas to know what I look at on the internet!
Played this with some friends the other day and it was so good!
Damn, I always knew the only way to stop Mark Zuckerberg was giving him our browsing data.
Doesn't he already have it?

Here's a like for not talking over the damn tutorials unlike most videos i watched so far :P
The rap battle game in this pack is the best one.
That first question made me wanna pour bleach into my eyeballs... but since the images are all in my mind that won't have an effect so I chose not to.

“I’m not getting blackmailed by a dog!”
love the whose line is it anyways reference at 10:00
This game mode is terrifying, like, am I in the Twilight zone?
That does seem to be what it's parodying, yes.
I love this idea xD please play more
I would be all for sports bloopers before videos
Chaz’s piece looks like Crow from MST3K lol
Where did you get that "ive got blood in my stool" from? MXC? (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, Originally called "Attack! Takeshi's Castle)
That was. By far. The CREEPIEST cat I have ever seen 3/10 would not view again
Best Jackbox game ever!
This was definitely fun to watch. I'd be looking forward to more. :D
Wow that first one was telling 😂
Wow, what an interesting concept!
Stephenplays you should play pikmin 3
Oh boy, I'd get in trouble if the Africa song happened! Not that it would be bad to sing! But um... I'm kinda a little more familiar with Translator Fails Google Translate version...
that was a good game, do it again
At the start on the screen the cat looked like he was talking
For a second I was like who is Daniel, and then I got it.
unrelated question, but how's the progress on The Doomsday Heist?
Raghav Bhasin I feel like I remember Stephen saying somewhere that it’ll replace Bioshock 2 when that wraps up, but I’m not certain about that.
I think Stephen's said it's done already, it's just being held up by Fallout.
I guess mal is mål now
"Doinked"? My God, does one of you secretly know my family or something? We use "Doink" all the time, and "Doinked" isn't too much of a stretch.
Thomas is a Chao!!!
*Whispers*
What the f***?!
You guys just got doinked
4 minutes in and I’m already dying xD
y'all this is funny as hell. please play again
Doinked!
Evidently I commented too soon. This video is doinked.
You would really give up the only talking dog in the world because you don't like that it talks about dogs??
There's no way for this game to be worse than 4
am i the only one who think the cat is creepy in this video???

does anybody else think stephen tries too hard to commentate/be funny? its annoying
nope :)
Not at all
Nope. Just you.
Why did you come here then?
