Best part of Rob's videos is how inquisitive he is when he goes about reviewing a knife. How carefully and thoughtfully he goes over each fit and finish while trying out multiple opening deployments. It is true joy of discovery.
@@barboki that is truly an incredible compliment. Thank you. You humbled me and I want to say thank you! That is always my intent and where my heart is.
The i is for inset lock. Craig has made the FSD (large with brown button style lock), mini FSD (smaller size with brown button style lock), the mini FSD-i (smaller with the inset lock), then the Cortex XL (also with inset lock). I own all of those models, they are all fantastic!
@@Robs_Nerdy_Knives i love large knives, and it actually carries very well for its size. The Mini FSD-i is still being made by Craig. Sign up for his email list to know when the drops happen. Best chance to get one is the semi-custom drops, you will have to wait for it tho. But you can do some ano, like the one in this video 👍
@@PluckyPackrat thank you. These knives can be a maze of creativity, incredible ergonomics, incredible execution, and awe inspiring action… it’s a joy to be lost in these designs and to connect to the makers intent.
@@jruchlicki I saw that when I wanted to link your exact build on the Brown Knives website. I was so excited to see that and it explained what I thought I noticed right away. I thought maybe this was the first Delrin or Taco Bearings that were equal to Skiffs. LOL.
This Brown Knives FSD is my favourite, very good shape of the blade and the handles, just the whole knife is flawless.

Absolutley a grail

I do not want an FSD because it is a knife that is too big for me to enjoy and enjoy EDC’ing. I do want want a Mini FSDi to join my Cortex XL.

@@JDizzle_Designs I’m signed up but I miss the drops or preorders because I’m at work or with family or too slow. Someday.
I like how Rob starts off very audible during his salutations and slowly gets quieter as he gets lost in the fine details LOL

beautiful but high end
Indeed!!
Beautiful FSD..those purple accents 🤌👌
@@just_nate_8694 I’m not usually into just accents on a high end knife, but these work and work really well!!
Excellent review! Skiffs are already in it btw 😉 check behind the foam on the lid.
