Every time I blow dry my hair it comes out so dry and brittle ! I use moisturizer and a little bit of oil before blow drying . Even if I don’t use oil it’ll still come out dry. So my hair won’t be silky it’ll look more like a blowout after straightening.
Maybe stretch your hair before the blow out. Put in your moisturizer then heat protectant, detangle, braid, and let it mostly dry then do your blow out. Your moisturizer will also have time to soak in this way. Make sure your moisturizer isn't too heavy if you intend to straighten.

Then done my Pop Smoke braids to go sleep 💆 straighten this morning & all is good👍🏾 I even snipped the ends about myself😜 (don't forget to wrap it)😘👌🏾

How to do a proper Silk Press? Get the Hair Goddess to do it for you because you are like those cooks who can tell you what to do but your meal will never be the same. Love your videos! Quick question! What if you have high porosity hair and you feel the deep conditioner can not rinse out of your hair fully? Basically the deep conditioner sticks to your hair and you don't want your silk press to be weighed down. Just want to know your thoughts.
Hey if that’s the issue for you only deep condition when you where your hair natural and just do your normal shampoo and conditioner when you want to silk press it

I tried to follow up with a non-sulfate shampoo (don't want to wash away everything from the DC) and matching conditioner after the deep conditioner to take out some of the stickiness. The thing is that I read that in order to give my hair extra moisture for the silk press that a deep conditioner was neccessary. I read that a conditioner just seals the top cuticle but does not penetrate like a DC does. I also wanted to protect my hair as much as possible from the heat by using a DC. I would love to know more about your thoughts on this topic. I love doing silk presses! Your channel is amazing! :)

Same. I cant for the life of me figure out why. I've used leave in conditioner. I've deep conditioning before hand and used oil as well and nothing.
