    I'd take the R12 over the nine-t. I'm old and prefer a cruiser that can still zip along well.

    • @CourtneyScarlettMoto
      @CourtneyScarlettMoto  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does exactly that! Zips along brilliantly but still got that comfortable easy riding style 😊

      Best bike for me too. 95CV is more than I need and handlebars are totally my style.

    Good video again Courtney, the wind took your voice in the beginning, but other than that you are doing great work. You are on point with the bike and what is is and does, and very nice film riding. Thank you for taking us along. I saw two bike`s of this kind out here In Norway yesterday, They looked cold, it was only 6-8 degrees here. 🥶 Keep up the great work! 🙂

      Thank you so much, as always I appreciate your feedback as it’s hard to be subjective of my own videos! So it’s really helpful to know what worked and didn’t! 😅 wow - very cold in Norway! Hope the sun comes your way (and mine!) soon! 😊👍🏻

    Sorely tempted. With the 9T the default temptation would be to café race everywhere whereas this default would be to cruise, with still the capability for the odd hoon when fancy takes. Was thinking of a T120 (over the Speed Twin for the same reason) but this offers more (cornering assists, quickshifter, shaft) for similar money, though the comfort pack pushes that up a bit. 18'' front wheel good for potholes too.. though do like the look of the red/alloy 9T 719 but a step up in price.

      You sound like me! Too many options 🤣👍🏻 they’re all great bikes, I can see why you’re struggling to choose!

    Great and informative review. I do like retro styling, however that bike is a bit small for me at 6'4. I've been looking at the Triumph scrambler 1200 XE. Hopefully in the next couple months I can find one I like. First mod will the slash cut exhaust lol. Thanks for the great videos and stay safe.

      Thank you! I appreciate that. Yes, might be a bit small but the Scrambler 1200 XE looks great, if you ride it before me let me know what you think of it! 😊 keep safe

    Nice review, i'm configuring an R12 right now. Should do well as a touring bike here in Spain. I looked for the Courtney Scarlet option but couldn't find it! 😉

    I have the 2021 r9t and was glad to see your review and dialogue on the r129t. I call my r9t my "hooligan" bike as it soomwhat makes me act out of my normal character. I also have my 1250rs for longer touring downn to my g310gs for slower and sometimes some off roading. Adding to my various riding pleasures are my RE classic 350 and a GT 650. What variety.!! By the way, I'm going on 71 and still love occasionally riding like a hooligan. Lol. 👍👍5🏍🙋‍♂️

    Good review. I don't like bike reviews that drown me in tech specs, I can read those for myself. I am keen to hear your review of the Himalayan 450, if it's on your To Do list.

    Finished a very extensive test ride.
    Pro:
    1. Engine, tons of power and especially torque. Does NOT feel like 95 HP, more like 120-125.
    2. Brakes incredibly strong, very confidence inspiring.
    3. Build quality
    4. Cruise control works beautifully, easy to engage / operate
    5. For someone around 5,9ft 175 cm this is very comfortable for long distance. Also nice low seat.
    6. 719 finish looks great.
    7. Digital display is crystal clear and very bright so amazing visibility.
    7. Tech laden
    CONS:
    1. KEYLESS allows you to switch the bike on and off but not lock/unlock the steering, meaning you still need to take out the key regardless. Absolutely retarded. Unless I have not figured it out somehow..
    2. No fuel gauge. Mind boggling
    3. Quick shifter feels BAD in the first 2 gears. Very jerky changes.
    4. Tyres grippy but could have been a little better.
    5. Rear shock is hard with very little travel, so only a little better than a triumph bobber or Indian scout bobber.

    How tall are you? And what is your inseam? Did you feel like the cruiser was easier for a girl to ride due to the lower seat height?

    • @CourtneyScarlettMoto
      @CourtneyScarlettMoto  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m 5’6, will have to double check my inseam later as I always forget it but I think a 30 inch. I found both bikes fine to ride, I wasn’t flat footed on the nineT but I’m used to riding bikes that are a bit on the tall side for me. I would say both bikes would be okay for most, but particularly petite people may prefer the lower seat height of the R 12
