This looks beautiful. Here in South Africa it will be called a Jolion Pro. It looks great I must say. Hopefully we get the All wheel drive as well, if they do that then they will be even more dominant that they are now. Great video
Have been watching and enjoying your channel for sometime. The most honest, and in-depth look and review of Chinese cars around. Thanks to you, and your Russian friends for this very valuable information ! (please pass it along to them !)
One would think so! But at the same time if AWD and no chrome is only required in Russia, it's cheaper for them to keep those changes implemented on one production line instead of all of their international assembly lines, I guess.
@@ValueCarsAU the production of Haval Jolion is highly localized inside Russia (around 80% as far as I know), even the engine is completely produced in Russia.. therefore, I think the local partner who produces these cars in Russia has some degree of freedom to slightly diverge from the main design imposed by the mother company.. I am not an expert, so don’t quote me on that 😆
I have a question for you the only haval h6 available in our market is the 1.5 l turbo is the engine okay for such a big car and i guess the fuel efficiency isn’t going to be as good as the 2.0 litre turbo available in other countries what do you think thanks
I'm pretty sure H6 is 2.0 on the Australian market and I'm unaware of 1.5L on any other market that I couldn't speak for in any case, as I'm not familiar with how they equip your cars.
I love your channel. Im in the market for a new car, and lots of reviewers are pushing the expensive brands that cost $20,000 more. I dont want to buy a car just because it's a popular make. Im open to chinese imports if they go the distance. The interiors are amazing. Im 60, and i love the futuristic look of the chinese vehicles. Hello from perth 😀
Hello, Perth! 😎👌Welcome to our little club! As far as your choice goes, it comes down to what does "going the distance" mean to you? 3 years, then change? 10 years and pass on to kids who learn how to drive (and will scratch/smash it)? Chinese cars are better than many badge snobs say, *BUT* they are of course not Japanese. As long as you're clear about that, you won't be disappointed.
Haptic means feedback. I thought the previous generation Jolion had sensor buttons that didn't "click down", you just touched the LED indicator and that was it. Anyway, just add one plus one mate, surely not a point worthy of confusion?
@@ValueCarsAU Sorry, you are incorrect. Surely you have used touch screens before? This is what haptic is. Just a simple, but noteworthy comment as it’s the correct description/definition. Personally, I’m not a fan of them for basic controls, however as they are becoming more common than actual buttons we won’t have this choice. Car makers are getting smarter with utilising technology and charging extra for this when in actual fact it makes them cheaper to produce. Just a bonus fact for you.
I like the chrome delete, I looks much nicer blacked out in my opinion. Also physical buttons is more sensible. It’s a good looking suv. Pricing is the key if it comes to Australia as it try’s to build its reputation.
I'm not holding my breath for it to come to Australia, to be honest, but hoping that some of their improvements - such as the updated ADAS software - actually might...
The new Jolion is now available in NZ. No 4WD options. Really like the new look. Great driving car, much nicer ride than previous model. 3 Hybrid options for our market, Premium $34,990, Luxury $37,990 & Ultra $40,990. I have ordered a new Hybrid & will trade my H6 Ultra 4WD. Will miss my H6 but my other half finds it a little large. H6 was purchased to tow our caravan 1650kg which it did with absolute ease. I am sure when you get the chance to drive this new model that you will be impressed. Keep up the good work, enjoy your posts.
I have a 2022 Mazda CX5 and I'm a bit pissed off. My Mother has a 2023 Jolion and it's a much better car for the price. I stuffed up and never even looked at the Haval.
I personally do not miss the chrome, I think it looks much nicer without it. Great video!
I completely agree - the car now looks a lot more "fit for purpose"

Yeah I like the look (and feel) of it a lot more than the model we currently have on our shores. Hope both SA and AU get this new iteration too!

I'm not connected to these "Russian friends" in any way, shape or form, but glad you've enjoyed the translation.
The exterior looks nicer and cleaner to look at
I think it's the much better color scheme (red and black) mate, but maybe the materials have improved too, I'm not sure.
Much appreciation from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Hello to my friends in ZW! 👋
Enjoy your video 🎉
Glad to hear it
Great looking car!
I think so too!
Isn’t it cheaper for the company to unify the look of the product in all export markets?

I much prefer the non chrome look. And thanks for the translation 👍👍
Glad you liked it mate.
The black truly makes it even more sporty than the chrome. But everyone got there our taste.
Oh definitely, everyone has their own taste for sure.
They are selling well in Australia.
Gorgeous vehicle. Nice to see other companies improve their products. Hope to see this brand in Africa as well.
With them spreading across the world, I'd be surprised if you don't see the brand soon enough... Although it always depends where you live, of course.
Does the normal haval have a reverse camera and wireless charger,i got the 2024 model
Its a 1.5t h2 city
Not sure about Jolion but H6 Lux didn't have wireless charger. I think all of them do have reverse camera for sure.
I think he's trying to say they copied the look of the Crosstrek without saying that they are copying :)
I think he said what he wanted to say, including that it looks more like a Subaru - leader in this segment.
Is it going to go up alot in price?
A little bit, on their market, but not substantial at all.
I hope they send through an update for the cruise control for all vehicles. I’m pretty sure it’s just a software update
I completely agree and hope they do too.
Sensor buttons? 🤔 Haptic sensors perhaps?

Good one Dmitry, please do a review for BYD SeaLion 6
As soon as I find a BYD dealership nearby! 😉👌
@@ValueCarsAU Thanks mate looking forward to it.
Glad they got rid of most of the chrome. Looks a lot better now.
Me too, but then again - I'm not sure we'll actually get this version in Australia...
Launching here in Namibia, Africa next Saturday.
Amazing to hear it's not for the Russian market then! 👌
Just bought one in Melbourne 2025 model. MY 2024
Does it look anything like this uplifted look?
I will be interested in this new model when it shows itself in NZ. Currently driving a 2022 H6 Ultra 4WD, a vehicle that I really enjoy driving.
I wonder if you'll get "this" one, or some other? Let me know

This version already in Philippines.
Oh, amazing to hear, thanks for sharing!
Nice videos good job (from Algeria)
Glad you liked it
Chinese cars are definitely improving and are good value for money.

I'm not a Mazda expert but would have thought CX8 is an entirely different class of a vehicle compared to small Jolion?
@@ValueCarsAU my bad, I made a typo, CX5
The Jolion is cheaper than the Mazda 3
