“Next Time You See Me” I’ll be playing my MAG P-2 Organ!

I received my new MAG P-2 organ earlier this week, and I couldn’t be more excited. This thing is such a beast, and is so realistic sounding. It’s laid out to the exact dimensions of a Hammond B-3, to half a millimeter! Here’s a little groovin with it plugged into my vintage Leslie 142 before I pack up for my gig tonight.

This video was a very helpful performance with finger movement and phrases for organ performance. If I had to say it, I would like you to tell me the code.
I was able to understand the "Chord G" in this performance, but this video is the only one I understood.

WOW! Impressive sound! Is there anything between the output of the Mag and the Leslie? Why did I ever buy that DMC-122 and Gemini....Oh well...

Thanks! And nope, the MAG was custom wired with an interface and 6-pin plug to go straight into the 122 series Leslies. I love it!

Sounds great. Wondering how you feel about the higher notes on the organ, from the video it sounds great but my issue with organ clones has always been the high end sounding piercing and thin

I totally agree with you. I’ve had a Nord C1, Viscount Legend Live, and Crumar Mojo Suitcase before this. Man, the HX3 engine gets it right. I actually have the virtual AO-28 tone pot assigned to a knob on the cheekblock, and I find pulling that back helps a lot on the high end.

It was 2 years for me, but there were several unusual circumstances that all converged at the same time. It sounds like Max has the operation rolling pretty smoothly again!

I played the Legend Live for 3 years. Viscount makes great instruments. I just couldn’t ever get the C/V dialed to my satisfaction, even after the update. The key action was stiff too. How does the Soul feel?

I had the Legend Live also. It plays great and sound good to thru my Leslie 3300 and with my Leslie 145.@@ChrisHazeltonB3
