The big tree castor plant is planted with minimum of 2 metres spacing, this allows for low plant inter cropping. Low crops such as Melon, Soybeans and other bean could survive comfortably when castor plant is young. It is possible to risk pepper if planted 2 - 3 months ahead of castor bean plant.
