- Welcome to the video about 10 Rarest AMC Muscle Cars Ever Made!| What They Cost Then vs Now
10. Muscle cars represent the golden era of American automotive power and style. Among the icons are cars produced by AMC - the American Motors Corporation. Although overshadowed by the Big Three - Ford, GM and Chrysler - AMC produced some stunning and now extremely rare muscle cars. In this video, we count down the 10 rarest ever made by AMC. We’ll provide background on why they were special in their time and what makes them so rare and valuable today. Expect to see production numbers in the hundreds or thousands for some models. We’ll also showcase their stand-out features and reveal their original prices when first launched.

Which AMC Muscle Cars do you feel is the rarest?
There was a California Special AMX and a Mark Donahue AMX, very limited production 1969-1970. You nailed the Matador Machine, though, I don't believe I've ever seen any of those in the wild.
Thank you@@thebionicbassplayer
@@qmusclecars 70'javelin trans am édition only 100 were made
@@francoisbedard7394 Yes, thank you.
Can anyone do a video without AI? Lame. Also incorrect info.
Thank you for your comments, we will adjust our content more accurately.
@@qmusclecars Just ask people in the hoppy who own the cars. And have a human read the script:)
Well, thank you for your comments to help me do better. That has been modified by me in my latest video. I will gradually edit old videos so that they have better quality.@@jimhall1095
yes, a human car lover would know what the abbreviations mean@@jimhall1095
Dude lose the computer narrator that can't pronunciate!😢
Thank you for your sincere feedback, I will improve it immediately to bring a better experience to you and your beloved audiences. Once again sincerely thank you.
They left off the hornet s/c 360 , it was a good looking quick little car.
No Super Stocks or Donohue's.

When I was 18 years old in 1971 I had an SC 360 Hornet. How in the world could you miss this car? 360 v8 , 4 speed, Ram air with locking rear and plenty of room for big wide rear tires. The ultimate sleeper.
Yes, thank you.
Great vid!!!!!
thank you for watching.

Sorry guy... combining a computer generated grafix instead of real footage with a poor computer voice makes not good content!
Thank you for comment. How should I make my content more engaging?
In principle and in terms of content, I find the article interesting so far. But the shots from GranTurismo don't work at all. And secondly, I detest these computer voices. Just listen to how he pronounces torque (lbf ft).
But to answer your question positively.
Look for real recordings, speak the audio track yourself; it's not bad if you have an accent. Not so much the focus on price and number but more on what made the model special.@@qmusclecars
The narrator (computer generated?) is mis-pronouncing all sorts of things that are always abbreviated (HP, Ci, ) some things that I don't know what he is trying to say.
Other that that, its a great video@@qmusclecars
Yes, thank you. I changed the use of AI voice. I hope you continue to watch my videos.@@thomasmay69
Oh wow, check out the AMC Rebel The Machine - what a mean machine!
🤩😍🤩😍😍
That 1972 AMC Javelin AMX looks so mean in black, listen to it roar!
😄🥰🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
Did you see the tires smoking on that AMC Hornet 360? Nasty!
🥰❤️❤️🥰🥰
If you can name it, I'm pretty sure I got a ride to College in the 80's. Can't beat that. When I went to Kenosha Wisconsin, for School, I meet my buddy
At that time, his Family had 27 AMC's
Im digging the slammed stance on that AMC Matador coupe - so sick!
😭😭😭😍
It’s cool to see old pictures of classic muscle cars.
Many thanks.
The interiors look slick inside those muscle cars.
Thank you.
The 1967.5 343ci AMERICAN was also "ULTRA" rare!!!
If it wasn't too strict, it could still be called a muscle car, right?
A lucky classmate of mine received a like new AMX as a graduation gift.
Do you own a muscle car?
@@qmusclecarsI own 2 Corvettes but most consider them to be sports cars instead of muscle cars.
Oh, that's wonderful. That was a whole fortune at that time.@@johnmcmullen456
Peep that AMC Gremlin X with the patriotic paint job - what a gem!
How do you feel about today's video?
Getting nostalgic over my grandpa's huge Oldsmobile 98 that I learned on.
How wonderful. You have had interesting experiences with vintage muscle cars.
Ive never seen an AMC Marlin in person before, so cool!
😄❤️😄❤️
I have a 1965 Rambler Marlin second owner

I have a 65 Rambler mode my stepfather's first new car presently I'm restoring it again
Great. Thanks for watching.
Using AI to create the audio. The scourge of TH-cam videos. If you're going to have the audio generated, at least don't use abbreviations.
Well, thank you for your comments to help me do better. That has been modified by me in my latest video. I will gradually edit old videos so that they have better quality.
When I was a young boy my neighbor had a white, with red white and blue paint schemed, rebel. I coveted that car and wished it was sitting in my dads driveway, next to what is now my 68 AMX, in red with white stripe's and go pac.
Thank you for watching my video. Have a good day.
Look at the massive bulging hood on that AMC AMX - pure American muscle!
😍🥰🥰🤩🥰
7:31 The best looking AMC ever.
Yes, great.
He said machine came in orange and had a new 340 engine
The suspensions on those muscle cars must be tuned for speed.
Thank you so much bro.
AMC Rebel "The Machine" used their station wagon suspension. Not purpose bulr but definitely heavy duty
I would love to test drive one of those classic muscle cars someday.
Yes, thanks.
Finding an old polaroid of me leaning on my grandad's Buick Riviera - just like this beauty!@@qmusclecars
How often do you see a mint AMC SC/Rambler? Im pumped!
❤️❤️❤️
I had 2. There are hundreds
I wonder how fast those muscle cars can really go.
Thanks.
The doors sound solid when they shut on the muscle cars.
I love you.
It looks fun to tear up chunks of rubber in muscle cars.@@qmusclecars
That VW bus looks just like the one my friends and I road-tripped to a concert in ages ago!
Your information is very helpful. Can you give me some ideas to improve video quality?
Muscle cars just have an aggressive stance on the road.
Yes, great.
Rambler Marlin
Yes.
Great video spoiled by the commentary!
Yes, thank you for your comments. I have replaced the commentary voice for the following videos. I hope you continue to watch my videos.
This channel doesn't know the difference between a sedan and a hardtop.
Thank you for your comments, we will adjust our content more accurately.
Just letting you know that blue amx isnt powered by a amc v8, that has a small block chevy in it. I can tell because the distributor is in the back rather than in the front
Thanks for your information. Hope you continue to watch my videos.
Those muscle cars are built for straight line speed.
Many thanks.
8:04 Anyone else notice the decals on the backup light lenses on this Javelin SST? 😉
Did you notice anything interesting?
I would be happy to read these scripts for you in perfect American English. I can also do it in perfect Spanish.
Great.
Isn't that something. I'm not all that great, but these people are third grade, tops.
The side scoops on muscle cars feed air to the hungry engines.
Thanks for watching.
1968 amxdidnt have aluminum body panels
Thanks for your great information. I will dig into more information for the next videos. Let's explore powerful muscle cars with us.
There is practically nothing about THE MACHINE that is correct in this video except the model year and the still shot accompanying the video of another MACHINE wearing the wrong wheels wrong stripe kit and the wrong rear springs for the type of driving done. There was NO orange paint, among other things.
I'm sorry for that. I hope you continue to watch my videos.
Would have been better with a real speaking person
Yes, thank you. I did that in my latest video. Please watch the video and comment for me. Thank you very much.
Gremlin X not rare. 71 to 74 Javelin AMX not rare. Javelin SST not rare. 76-77 Hornet AMX more rare. 79-80 Spirit AMX more rare. 78 Concord AMX most rare AMX. 71 SC 360 Hornet very rare and desirable. What about 78-80 V8 Pacers. 78 Gremlin GT. Heck missed Randle 401 Gremlins a legend . You actually picked some of AMC most popular cars not most rare ones.
🤩🤩😭🍺😭
This could've been a much better video but using video game footage with terriblly inaccurate voice over probably generated by AI ruins the entire video.
How wonderful. You have had interesting experiences with vintage muscle cars.
Great pictures. Simply more blatant inaccuracies than I've ever seen in any videos about AMC.
Not 390 cc, but 390 cubic inch. Big difference.
Thank you for being a viewer.
Difficult to watch with so much nonsensical information. From motors NOT available in years as described to describing an AMC motor when CLEARLY it's a chevy or AMX's with aluminum body panels.....NOT!!! As mentioned below, where's the Hornet SC 360?

I'm probably too much of a AMC dork, but some of your facts are just wrong
Yes, thank you so much.
Why the AI ?
Why the AI !
The 68 AMX in this video had a swapped 350 small block chevy. Cmon guys.

This sounds like artificial speech. From a non English speaker. Needs serious editing.
There were some videos where I used an AI voice, but those videos have recently been replaced with a professional Mc voice. Thank you for helping me.
Can't stand for the AI miss pronounced words and understanding of vehicle terms.
That's right, thank you for your comment. We will fix that.
Who AIre these Electrople? I ran away in less El LA Bees and Em Pees than an AMC Rebel could accelerate with. I'm showing it to my groups...on how not to do a Computer Generated Top Ten. Not impressed..Better luck Next time...🥝❌..
