Avatar Yangchen is that you ?
Hehe
officially Yang Chen
YESH DEH YANG CHEN
theres surprisingly a large number of people here because of avatar
Please this must be the real Ling Xiaoyu
I came here because of Avatar Aang. Sir bending!
Me too! So far I only mastered 2 out 4 of the moves in the airbending scroll! It would be much better if I was able to shoot air lol
same
+Hero i will start this year or maybe next the 4 elements kind of kung fu and do it in the order that aang did so first air Ba Gua Zhang then water Tai Chi then earth (since toph has her own style i will do both style) Hung Gar and Southern Praying Mantis then fire Northern Shaolin i'll probably take 20 year or more for all of them, but i dont actually do it for the avatar lol but for the discipline
Good luck to you keep us posted! We can spar in 10 years
Kai Mana i already started ba gua zhang and it is so freaking cool
She’s so fluid. Graceful, yet deadly. What an art in motion
All I see is airbending
Try your air bending with her... See what happens?
I love that Air Bending and Neji's fighting style has so much culture ahhh so artful.
I was just doing some research on Neji. Airbending is rlly cool ngl
@Zanfitto-sc1lg you too came here from the Naruto subreddit? 😂
Avatar Aang would be proud
IT'S AVATAR YANG CHEN!!!!!!!!!!!! xD
Wow! She is beautiful and her performance is amazing!
On the night this was filmed she was heard to have mentioned how the stage rattled during parts of her demonstration.
With the power of airbending anything is possible
@@risingpaladin6839 Yes Master Paladin
She's so flowing and makes it look effortless, but it looks so incredibly precise. As with lots of people, I found out about Baguazhang through Avatar, and I just find the movements mesmerising.
As a slightly weird thought as a person with long hair, I kept imagining hair getting in her mouth (I've just never been very graceful)
Some one edit this with air bending
you can't see air bending in real life.
@@robinthestate6548 he says edit
I love the crouching tiger hidden dragon music playing while this air bender performs her routine to us mortals
Came here to see if anyone mastered airbending yet
The best part is that Air is invisible, meaning that you don't have to see the element for this to look like Airbending!
Air itself is invisible, yes, but Airebending IS NOT invisible. I don't know why so many people think this.
@@ItsKeysama Airbending sort of collects air into one tight space and releases it
@@Figure000 For some techniques, yes.
some air bend stuff
You have to have a deep understanding of basics and technique to see how her movements are actually highly useful. This is a form, an exercise, to develop your mind and body, with martial arts movements "flowing" from 1 combination to another. From there you have to imagine how these movements are applied with an opponent or opponents----which is only achieved with partner training.
It's dancing not fighting. She would be destroyed by someone who does MMA.
@@MrOdsplut Good one.
BE THE LEAF!
Well I guess Aang is not the last airbender
To be fair, if the sky bisons were the original airbenders, that would mean that Appa was also an airbender, which menas that there were at least two airbenders left until Korra.
I wonder when she will get her tattoos
As someone who has studied both Wing chun and Ba Gua I personally love Ba gua. Finding a good teacher can be tough though.....
She's an Airbender Aang will be so happy
Baguazhang is one of the more mesmerising martial arts to watch :) Wonderful skill
So incredibly fluid.
She's a killer airbender.
not shure if yang chen or.................?
Lmaoo
neither lol
The Bagua is beautiful and I see the flow, but I don't understand it nearly enough to see the martial aspect. Zhang keeps her hair down as it definitely adds to the beauty of the spirals and spins.
it's powerful style if you know how to use it properly you can knock few enemies in one round. the dragon is powerful uses body and flexible techniques to attack and confuse the enemy. I'd say deadly but very few artists know how to use it
You have to master it if you wanna beat the fire nation
A lot of the spin movements are close-in throws/arm locks. Watch th-cam.com/video/cn_pSYC2CJU/w-d-xo.html and you'll see some great applications followed by the movements as they are in the form.
Watching this again and had to comment [again]. When that beat dropped, I virtually fell in love.
Aight! my air bending journey starts here!
Did anyone else expect to see air coming from her hands or just me
Nope, it's confirmed which martial arts' movements are used for each element:
Fire - Northern Shaolin.
Earth - Hung Gar
Water - Taichi
Air - Baguazhang
Avatar Yangchen??
Incredible, I can't stop watching!
I can see the elements moving with her
Air bending to its finest! 💨
This was gracefully done!
You wouldn't believe how difficult and powerful that is. Like Bono said: she moves in mysterious ways.
Almost looks like she's airbending
beautiful performance.
I’m here to watch some airbending
The power she gets off those spins is unreal.
These movements (her forms?) were seriously beautiful!
0:35 ~ 0:42 that reminds me of Avatar Wan locking up Vatu. So elegant
Bro I thought air bending was just loosely based on this, like maybe they took just their philosophy and some moves.
Nope, Bagua is straight up air bending.
air bending is straight up bagua*
Awesome and fluid movements. Great video. Thanks, maurice
The discovery of this circular internal martial art is a revelation for me.
Perfect beautiful and expertly done!
Avatar Yangchen 🤜🖐 (That's me bowing... )
Now edit it with her making air blasts!
It's a really effective wrestling form, it has some really nice takedowns in it.
shes good.
Got so emotional watching this...almost friggin' made me cry!
I think you mean made you tearbend
@@gretazimmerman8299 😆
@@lslewis We all knew someone was gonna say it sooner or later
@@gretazimmerman8299 Yeah, even if it took years lol
@@lslewis 😁
Very interesting - thank you
Reminds me of Korra teaching Opal airbending
Her hairs play the Baguazhang, too !
Her form and chi is fantastic
wow that is so good my god ..thankyou ..
C'est une magnifique démonstration.
I look at her, and I see that some moves are a mix of strikes and blocks, making them look...... Airy and smooth. I do believe that originally this martial art would be different, as would most. Still, can't help but think how to apply this to life. Like using a full strike instead of one that is...... Special
Be aware of all body movements, all nerve centres, pressure points, joints.
Be aware of all strikes, holds and locks.
Yes.
Fire is Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and Earth is Hung Gar.
I love how this isn’t all about fighting, it is also about being fluid in you movement and flowing
Dude you're literally everywhere
Wait, even here?
So it's dancing?
@@kamusta3446 No, it's airbending
When you're late but you can't find the key
One of the toughest styles to counter
I came here to learn.
It very beautiful but how really effective is it?
is James Hong doing the narration?
Ba gua is very deadly art. I can see the ferocity in her movements
In true Bagua their are no wasted movements every movement has a martial purpose.
Very good dance moves
Airbender ❤
I think some masters also attribute the origin of the water and snake styles to this exact....
lu hei or something if your reading this and are bored look up
Beautiful
I can feel the wind
I have seen this Baguazang in Jet li movie its " The One" movie in which Jet li trains and use this move in order to beat the other Jet li in a fight.
Xiaoyu from Tekken has a similar fighting style
this is world class
Is this what avatar use?
Yes
That is some good bagua!!
Great
Now can someone please edit this to make it look like she’s airbending!!!??? 😆 this is awesome!
Actor James Hong commentated
May I say magnificent hair...
传说中的八形八式八卦掌,从来没有见到过!
zhang hong mei is good. :)
Holy fucking shit, she is amazing.
Oh yes, that's right, it looks like the moves from 'The last airbender', now I know what the boy is doing in that movie: elements of Bagua and Tai CHi and maybe something else. Does anybody know?
This is wu shu ba gua and is done for show. I agree though that there is a lot of Bagua out there which is sub par.
hhell yeah dude
Багуа это Ней ли ,а не внешнее пусть и красивое исполнение .В реальном бою Она сама себя сломает.
I think it’s awesome that ATLA fans are here as I’m one myself.
But you got me fucked up if y’all don’t see Hinatas gentle fist in here
its almost like ballet
Might as well be. This is not the original, martial form. This is dance form.
Very beautiful. Ballet...eat your heart out. You got nothin on this girl!
She is so beautiful!
actualy.. there is 360 moves ...... but it's so perfect... i mean the moves........thanks.... i'm so sorry if i've wrong...
este es el verdadero pakua el baguazhang no la porquería de la liga internacional hace creer a todos
esto si es un arte marcial este es el verdadero pakua
is that Lo Pan announcing?
Sounds like Po's dad, Mr Ping.
Beside the avatar thingy. SHES GOOD
Must be fucking windy there
Didn't she used to be a Pussycat Doll backing dancer? ;)
Crouching tiger hidden dragon music
In all honesty it don’t look like it’ll hurt
My cousin dances like that
