The part of this storyline that always puzzled me is why didn't Barnabas turn to Angelique for help. Did Angelique just take off after The Leviathan threat was over and Nicholas Blair was destroyed?
I think Angelique probably Did go away for awhile but then she can be indifferent to anything that does not concern her. If she discovered that the spirit of Gerard was really the spirit of her old enemy , Judah Zachary, but manifesting as Gerard because of his obsession with Daphne, then Angelique must just get out of town. Anyway, that's MY theory.

I think she would have fared better against Judah than she would have in an earlier life. ***SPOILER*** I wished they had resolved this storyline in 1970 instead of through another time travel story. This would have avoided the continuity mistakes with Angelique and Edith Collins. ***SPOILER***
After Barnabas (and later Julia) travelled over into Parallel Time, I think that Angelique became bored in Collinsport and took off for Barbados to work on her tan.

She is very much a part of 1840 but I think I gave away too much information already in relation to her part in this. We will see her only in 1840 . We also have to wait to see Louis Edmonds, Jerry Lacy and Humbert Allen Astredo for the 1840 storyline. I forgot that Michael Stroka and Terry Crawford also show up in smaller roles.

OOPS! By putting the doll in the Rose Cottage replica, the kids caused Carolyn to be summoned and possessed. Womp womp womp...
The Rose Cottage went on for SOOOOOO long.
It had some great subplots, but I just wasn't into Hallie and David.
