    Palolem was our favorite place in Goa, we would walk to the right side of the beach and cross the little river and chill on the empty beach near that island on the right. The short boat tour on that river/mangrove is also cool with the eagle feeding, hundreds of eagles

    Know exactly how you feel coming down to Goa! After 3 months in Nepal and then another 6 weeks travelling all across northern India, we were pretty beat up and were so happy to arrive here. The little things, like being able to feel your fingers and not having to be super wrapped up as you say, it's glorious! Great adventure as always ✌

    • @kaes7041
      @kaes7041 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gogadevIt is so overcrowded that you´d find more relaxation and serenity on Times Square NYC. Hoards of tourists have trampled down the atmosphere and all that is left is noise, the sense that the world is overpopulated and the feeling that human mankind has turned into brainless selfie, "click photo" and "I pay 800Rp for 3minutes of watersport" zombies. What a wonderful spot Anjuna has been pre COVID. I am almost crying as I write this. Maybe it gets a little better as the season is slowly coming to end.

    • @kkumar888
      @kkumar888 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GabrielTravelerVideos Recently due to Pandemic, the tourism in Goa is mostly Indians who usually do not buy these kinda stuff because they know the actual price and also very easy to find in rest of India. Definitely its around 30-80 rupees max but glad you helped her.

    • @debabanerjee9131
      @debabanerjee9131 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kkumar888 I think Gabriel is probably the only foreign adventure travel vlogger who has demonstrated over and over again in most of his videos how a foreigner can save money and enjoy the maximum number of attractions in any country in the world including India. If you are a subcriber like myself you probably have seen how he has avoided the people in Morocco who wanted to extract money out of him in Fez , Casablanca and Rabat...just because he is a foreigner

    • @debabanerjee9131
      @debabanerjee9131 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also another reason why I admire and respect Gabriel is that when he is making his travel vlogs about a place he talks about the Histrory and Geography of that place. Hello Gabriel. I appreciate you visiting my country and making such lively vlogs about it. I am a big fan of your travel videos. While watching this video I just wanted to point out that while paying, try not to be too lenient. For example, The auto rickshaw that charged you 250 rupees, it should not be that much. They take advantage of your honesty. Which i felt really bad about. Sorry about it! Try not to convert valuations to USD always, cause 3usd might not be much for you but that’s still a decent amount of money that can give you a 18-20 km auto rickshaw ride in a city like mumbai. In goa the valuation should be similar if not slightly less.

    Far cheaper in Anjuna. You'd have got that beer for 70 rupees and that kind of accommodation for about 2000 a night (though don't book online, negotiate at the time). The initial tuktuk price of 120 seemed fair from Patnam to Palolem but to charge 250 to stop off in Chaudi is a bit high, it's not really that much out of the way, certainly not double the journey.

    Hi gabe welcome to Goa, my hometown. Hope you enjoy it here. I'll suggest you to avoid the beach vendors who sell necklaces. They tend to cheat most of the time. Also if you get time do experience the carnival floats happening around Goa. Also you can visit places like Old Goa, Mangeshi temple to experience goan culture.

    It feels like India because it is India and it was part of India before Portuguese came. It was Portuguese who invaded Goa not Indians. India just reclaimed it.
