Expense is the tradeoff to live in Chicagoland among all the employment opportunities and amenities - my "cost of living in Chicago" video compares other major cities and Chicago is more affordable and on average offers better salary.
Schaumburg is cool, lots to do. I'd also recommend looking into Arlington Heights and Palatine. Great forest preserves in this area w/ trails and lakes.

Bought in Brookfield! Good starter homes and in between Riverside, La Grange without the huge price tag! Easy to commute downtown. I love it.
I like how you point out that just north of the tracks in La Grange is a Trader Joe's. I love my TJ!
Gotta have TJ! Having one in a neighborhood increases property values - someone did research on it a few years ago.
Thanks so much for the video. It was really helpful and I like how you mentioned clubs and activities in each town.
For sure! Gotta have fun things to do outside of working 💪
I grew up in the area Austin as some prices are real expensive
I grew up in the Chicago area as well!
Very expensive

Chicago is my dream city
I want to see about Schaumburg, Illinois.. 🤗🙂😎😎
Only seen the commercial areas to be fair but I think it’s too commercial for younger folks.
Love the city but love it even more living in Oak Park ❤️
Oak Park is definitely a cool spot! Check out my Oak Park vlog here - th-cam.com/video/nxza4WIr9Oc/w-d-xo.html
@@AustinWeiss yep! Already did 😄
Awesome 👌
I’m looking at relocating out of state to Schaumburg for work. I’m 31. Could you give your honest opinion? You touched on it only briefly. Thanks!

Schaumburg - it seems to be the best for middle-class families
Schaumburg has some nice qualities going for it and it's in a great location 👍
