2:44 It's one of two types of quivers for the bowmen, although you could conceivably clip the end with the arrows off, file it down smooth, and use it as a map or scroll case instead. This kit really showcases how far North Star's plastics have come in only a few years. While it's certainly not a bad kit and remains a great bargain, when you assemble it you'll find a few optional bits and even arms that fit just a bit awkwardly and may need some filing or putty to look right, something that you really don't see much at all on more recent kits even when swapping parts between them. It was their first Frostgrave set, and you can really see the improvement in detailing and fits as they got more practiced and confident with making new masters. More ambitious too - in particular the two wizard kits are just phenomenal in terms of how many optional parts each frame has, all of which swap seamlessly between almost any kit in the range.
Sorry just seen this message, for some reason it was held for review. As a retailer northstar are my main supplier. I'm always happy with all of there products. And they are a great team to deal with. I do hope we see lots more coming from them.
I've seen this box be used in a wide variety of conversions and having watched this, I suddenly understand why. It looks like a very versatile kit with tons of great parts. Great look at the kit! I'd love to see you do a video on some Perry or Footsore kits.
