Can you please share your experience? and what your solution was to fix this problem. I'm new to this and I keep backing out from finalizing any payment due to all the unknowns. I've done research but it always seems like something will potentially cause me to pay more than I am comfortable with. For example, some random fee once the product gets into the US. I like to know what I'm paying upfront, this way I can make one payment and no surprise.
@@shavoyr6978 I learned things through trail and error. First of all, try your best not to get your supplier to ship your goods for you, based on reasons mentioned in the video. As far looking for the right Freight Forwarder, it's the same approach as looking for the right supplier in Alibaba. Post in Amazon FBA Facebook groups that you need a Freight Forwarder, and within the day, you'll get tons of replies from Freight Forwarders offering their services. Vet the FFs by asking them a list of questions about pricing (air vs sea), what their fees cover - does it cover tariffs and other custom fees, do they provide inspection services as well, etc. Identify 10 FFs and ask them these questions. Assess them on how they communicate with you and answer your questions, the price and service that they can offer and also years of experience in the business. Narrow it down to your top 3 FFs and pick a FF from that lot.

I have the same issue. None of the suppliers seem to understand it needs to go to the warehouse and ask for an address. I don’t have an address. Like how do you connect the two???
@@emmahorsley4992 Need to find a freight forwarder to handle it all. You contact good suppliers, and freight forwarders. Ask where the freight forwarder's address is and have the supplier ship the goods to the freight forwarder's address. The forwarder will ship the product to the country you want after receiving the goods. If you find all this troublesome, you can find a purchasing agent to handle it all for you. Including product ordering, transportation services, and product after-sales services.

What I am hoping you could clarify for me is the Amazon master box shipping labels. You mentioned that I need to send them to the supplier/FF. 1). Since these labels need to stick to the boxes, do I print them at home on special paper that has sticky labels or on plain paper? 2). if printing at home on label paper, then I need to (snail) mail them to the supplier? This could take a week or two to get to them when the product is ready to ship, which is extremenly valuable time? Or do I just email the electronic version (pdf soft copy) of the master box shipping label to a freight-forwarder and they print it on sticky labels on their end and give to the supplier to stick on the cartons? If you mean, protect the design and product from other sellers to compete with you...the only legit way is with a patent but those aren't even a 100% safe...what I would do, is get a supplier who you really trust and have a good relationship with, then have them sign a contract that says they will not advertise your product and protect your brand...obviously they have every right to sell the product as another brand if someone else approaches them.

I'm at the ordering samples of my first products. Is it normal to pay $25 for express ship for a hand full of small and light items? Will I expect to pay more for sample order shipping than when I order say 300 small and light items?
$25 is normal. There is a great way to get more samples with minimal shipping costs. Order samples from multiple suppliers in China, and then have the suppliers send the samples to the address of the forwarder you contact. The freight forwarder will collect all the samples for you and transport them to your delivery address together.
very general and pretty much talks about all the knowledge he has but then doesnt express much and tells you you have to go find it yourself. I say the only thing i learned from this was the freight shipping. i stopped at the 11th minute because so far this holds almost no information regarding how to send it from Alibaba to Amazon FBA
What if supplier suddenly raised the shipping price to almost double the amount during the production stage? Explaining it as "shipping carriers change costs every day". Hi, James. Hope all is well. I wrote 500 units per box and Amazon says: The quantity you entered exceeds the accepted limit for units per box. Then I tried 2 boxes with 250 units per box and still it says same thing. Can you help me figuring out how many units per box I am allow to do. it is stencils, they are as skinny as a paper, that is why it does not takes to much space.
I used Alibaba 30/70 via credit card to pay supplier and supplier arranged all shipping via their forwarder. order protected by Alibaba trade insurance also added Alibaba inspection services where inspection agency inspects product in China. Stipulated 70% released when passes inspection and after reviewing copy of bill of landingn Only issue max per transaction per credit card is $12k. I had $38k order so just split into multiple orders. Much safer to use credit if you are new

Just send them the PDF electronically and have them print and put on the master cartons :)

We put our freight forwarders US port address there. You can put the manufacturers address, but I prefer putting a US one there.

Hi Camron, I wanna get 1000-3000 units from my Chinese supplier to Amazon warehouse directly. But Amazon is allowing me to send only 200 units per shipment. In this case what should I do? do you have any suggestion?

I'm at the ordering samples of my first products. Is it normal to pay $25 for express ship for a hand full of small and light items? Will I expect to pay more for sample order shipping than when I order say 300 small and light items?
$25 is normal.
There is a great way to get more samples with minimal shipping costs.
Order samples from multiple suppliers in China, and then have the suppliers send the samples to the address of the forwarder you contact. The freight forwarder will collect all the samples for you and transport them to your delivery address together.
very general and pretty much talks about all the knowledge he has but then doesnt express much and tells you you have to go find it yourself. I say the only thing i learned from this was the freight shipping. i stopped at the 11th minute because so far this holds almost no information regarding how to send it from Alibaba to Amazon FBA

What if supplier suddenly raised the shipping price to almost double the amount during the production stage? Explaining it as "shipping carriers change costs every day". I understand the reasoning, but it couldnt change from $500 to $1000 in three weeks, right? How do I know if this is bullshit and how to deal with the supplier in that situation?

Hi, James. Hope all is well. I wrote 500 units per box and Amazon says: The quantity you entered exceeds the accepted limit for units per box. Then I tried 2 boxes with 250 units per box and still it says same thing. Can you help me figuring out how many units per box I am allow to do. it is stencils, they are as skinny as a paper, that is why it does not takes to much space.

I pay my freight forwarder after they ship my goods, no down payment. I use a wire because I pay after my goods have been shipped.
I used Alibaba 30/70 via credit card to pay supplier and supplier arranged all shipping via their forwarder. order protected by Alibaba trade insurance also added Alibaba inspection services where inspection agency inspects product in China. Stipulated 70% released when passes inspection and after reviewing copy of bill of landingn Only issue max per transaction per credit card is $12k. I had $38k order so just split into multiple orders. Much safer to use credit if you are new
