Hi guys, hope you enjoy this vlog of us going to Sonamarg where I just keep raving about the views 😂 For taxi we paid Rs 2500 for swift dzire from Srinagar to Sonamarg
Using big vehicles without any particular necessity is bad for the environment (Due to unnecessarily higher smoke emission). We should know that it is better to use the smallest vehicle possible for travel.
Is this trip you both went in May Month ??

went to kashmir 2 weeks ago and the experience was truly amazing... unfortunately we missed sonmarg bcoz we were heading to ladakh but the view of sonmarg from road was spectacular

Agents are charging too much.
One boy met us in macleodgaj so we called him( thought he would be helpful) and he said 145 k for 4.
Isnt it too costly?
Just say whatever comes to your mind, how much one can bargain?
In macleodganj (last year) went into a shop and saw a carpet.
Owner said 25k and my bro offered 23k (of which we had no idea).
While i saw someones comment that he/she bought a shawl in 250rs.
While the seller offered at 3k.
Look at the gap.
All cant bargain to this level.
Be reasonable.

We went last year to Kashmir for our honeymoon,, completely loved the beauty , everything about nature was spectacular for me,, BUT the moment people intervene everything spoils , the monopoly, union ,continuous calling out by vendors or sellers or union’s people was total a peace off or exhaustion moment. For me nature is healing but the moment I tried to have some peace these were there, in addition on shikara ride , the rider kept on talking about tipping him good and tipping is one thing too.
Will definitely go again to Gulmarg only and never Sonmarg , the commutation is poor like literally poor wish I had the pic the vehicle they provided us,, from Innova to that vehicle was pathetic and the traffic to the way of Glacier is killing like literally killing the moment you took your face out the diesel petrol smell in air is! Also the the vehicles mostly the trucks or taxis (not ours though we paid enough for it) everywhere in Srinagar in so old and emit such high level of pollution. Think you went in nature to heal but this destroys your thoughts.. anyway not cribbing but stating facts but will go back yo Gulmarg ❤
I agree! We didn't come across such people this time but the last time we went to Sonamarg, we got annoyed by people coming to sell their services to us!
Yes very true i also face this issue while visiting sonemarg like they were not bargaining at all like 1 person said he will go otherwise no one will go instead of him etc so our taxi driver from srinagar helped us there n 3500/- was final otherwise they were behaving like thugs n asking 8k . But in sept there was nothing special to watch in sonemarg . Sonemarg is for winters when there is snow n have lot of snow activities. For us we had such a great stay in pehalgam our hotel was so good n staff was so good view i mean awsm👌👌👌 i would like to recomend that hotel to any 1 who visit pehalgam view staff 100/10 👌

On the way to Sonmarg where you had breakfast restaurant you have not mentioned the name of restaurant. You also mentioned that you bargain for taxi tour to Baltab valley, you didn't mentioned that in the end. If you are posting any video try to give complete information of every activity you are doing for the benefit of viewers. Keep in mind for next videos.Anyway good job done.

I went last year in sept with my parents and it was random plan but turn out to be sooooo good i mean kashmir is beauty ❤ that time weather was lil hot in day time srinagar but sonemarg was same like this rainy windy coldd . Gulmarg & pehalgam was proper hill stations with very cold weather . Kashmir is beauty wish to go there again ❤

@@palvitvirmani9573 day time its hot in srinagar bcz of harsh sun . Later evening n night are like you dont need fan bcz its good weather . There are lot of parks to visit in srinagar but due to hot weather we were unable to enjoy that but parks were so beautiful clean like they maintain it well . Sonemarg was same as pooja dii shown in vlog windy rainy cold n same bargaining issue . Actually sonemarg is for snow activities in its peak season but view is breath taking everywhere in kashmir. Gulmarg n pehalgam is like proper hill station with cold weather just when there is sun u will feel okish but other then that its cold evenings nights morings plus you don't knw when its gonna rain again so carrry umbrella. Hospitality of kashmir hotels mostly great 👌
How many days u were there in Kashmir? Where did u stay? We r planning to go end of next month.. travelling will two small kids.. since it is summer we may not need any jackets ryt??
@ashidaedakkavil4805 we were there for 5 days 1st day we stay in houseboat thn we mostly stay in good hotels which were great n explored all touristy places n if u wanna go somewhere local touristy places always check rate card from ur Hotel reception bcz they have fix rates otherwise u gonna pay extra from outside where ppl do barging which will not take you any whr n u will end up paying more than it required but don't forget to carry warm cloths jackets etc for children n for yourself as well bcz it is cold in gulmarg sonemarg n pehalgam . Mornings n evening nights are very cold in pehalgam n gulmarg. It might rain as well so winter cloths r must with children it's a necessary. Have a safe journey 💕

horse ride is expensive, try to avoid it. they would cost u from 2500 to 7k
