Honestly, RCF 745A. Rcf made the plastic boxes in such a way that they can reproduce bass even better than wooden boxes. They are "made" to be used even without subs, in most scenarious.

There are two speakers that I would consider if I didn't care about weight or cost. Both are from reliable companies with repair facilities in most cities and very good long term warranties. Both are road tested and sound really good. The JBL SRX tops and the EV ETX tops. Both make great two way tops in these lineups. Runner ups would be the KW series from QSC. Yep the real wood sounds much better than the K-series plastic. Also honorable mention to the Yamaha DSR series, very loud and clear.
Saw that question on FB... I've got a pair of RCF 932s, they're crazy loud and wicked clear... I also had 4 EKX-12P's that I sold when I heard the 932...the EKX-12p is good for sure, but the 932 is waay, waay louder and more clear...the difference was shocking. And I agree completely, at the level of "better than 932s", dude better be looking at multiple 18" subs...and genie lifts to hang the tops...and a crew to haul it all, LOL.
We also don't know anything about his board, settings, the files he uses, etc. I dig cars & Hot Rodding. The fun part is doing those tweaks to the car that give you the most from what you've got. That's how I look at audio systems as well. It's a chain that's only as strong as it's weakest link. Lots of unanswered questions here

New RCF NX-945s are absolutely amazing. Had the QSC KW setup for a decade and that was great (KW122 12" and KW181 sub), but wow. You really notice the difference in clarity between 1.75" and 4" compression drivers!! Can really feel the thump on the 15s even without a sub.
I'm thinking about buying those! I have 4 ev ekx15ps sitting I'm thinking about selling them and buying a pair of rcf- nx945a and letting my qsc kw153 rest currently using 2 qsc kw153 with 4 ev ekx18sp subs 2 subs stacked on each other with the qsc kw153 stacked on top , would you recommend me switching out the qsc 3 way tower for the rcf speaker?
1000% correct. Louder does not equal better … covering the audio spectrum with appropriate speakers gives you a better sound. Instead of 12” & horns for my mobile system, I have a pair of 8” & horns, on top of 12” subs. While the horns technically smaller than the RCF Art932, the overall package give better sound … and they’re wooden passive boxes all round (NEXO PS8/LS400 system) which is a whole other argument, lol.
😊 this was delightful to hear I was wondering what you was going to pick and then I was thinking about Yorkville speakers if you really want to go that far but you know there is no best speakers you should go by the SPL and what your budget looks like
Best is Subjective. I can say that There are best sounding, and then there are the "best overall value, and "best bang for your buck". I get compliments with my Alto TS312s. They have been work horses for me, and they have a great digital sound to them. I also use Harbinger LS1000s for a line array system, and they are awesome imo. RCF Art 745s sound amazing, and have A LOT OF THROW in the sound. If a DJ is big events, and large proms etc. then I would recommend high powered RCF Speakers. If someone is doing weddings and parties 50 to 250 person events, then Yamaha DBR, Alto TS 312/412, Harbinger 3412 or 4212, EV ZLX, or the newer JBL EON series would all be value speakers that have plenty of sound and durability to last for doing these size events. For the vast majority of events that DJs do, having high powered expensive high end speakers is not a necessity by any means.
The Yamaha DZR12 is 139db. I’m sure the only way to use that speaker at its full potential is by flying it or putting great distance between the speakers and audience.
I’m still searching for that system that can be compact but yet still move a room of 150-300 tops. Why don’t you recommend rcf and fbt anymore? I bought my first pair of rcf speakers over 11 years ago after your review on the 722a back in the early 2000s. I think that the QSC-K12 is the one to measure the other 12 inch tops against. You see them with bands and DJs all the time. The thing about them is that they don't excel at just one thing and they really don't have a big weakness to them. I am talking about things like reliability, how mobile they are , how easy they are to setup, the warranty and the sound quality. Seems like you get it all with this speaker. Music tends to have a power density of 1/f, specifically -3dB/oct. In practical terms, this means the lowest octave requires HALF the total power of the system. d&b audiotechnik E12 is the best 2 way 12” top on the planet. Costs $4759.94 each and requires an amp that costs $10,042.95 (not including taxes). …and even that can’t handle full range without a sub. It goes down to 50hz, but full range is 41hz and up. There’s no 2 way top on the planet that can produce 41hz within 3dB of the rest of its frequency response. He needs a sub or a 3 way top.

I would have just suggested something higher end in a wooden cabinet like HK's. But you're definitely out of your mind.
d&b audiotechnik E12 is the best 2 way 12” top on the planet.
Hey I have a home pa system in my garage: mixer, eq , compressor, 2-18” Yorkville Elite subs, 2- 15” tops w/Eminence Kappa,1-Peavey Cs 3000 amp, 1-Crown Power Base 3 amp.
It sounds better than any of your stuff.
i think he is asking a column array speaker
The best is the ones you have! LOL
BOSE F1 812 TOPS WITH LINE ARRAY. HANDS DOWN, LOUD, CLEAR LIGHT TO CARRY, AND HOLDS ITS VALUE.
that wasn't the question .bla bla bla
Rcf
RCFs I have encountered sound terrible. Excessive midrange, boomy uneven bass, they are not close to quality sounding. They are just loud, nothing else good.
System engineers fault not the gear...
This is a hilarious comment.
RCF HDM-45a sounds magic my friend.
