Actually saved my speaker! It didn't charge anymore. Opened it and found this little connector being disconnected from the board. Now it's back again! Thank you!
Mine just plays at a low volume. won't go any louder, it's still ok for late night early morning bedtime listening but i am looking at a Tecsun short wave radio with removable rechargeable batteries to replace it with. the reason i got the PK3 was for listening to Amazon music over bluetooth with a echo dot in the bath!

Hi there, great video ! 👌🏼😃👏🏼 I have this device now for about two years and all of a sudden I got this problem: When I switch it on, the LEDs go on as expected ... but then the battery LED keeps flashing for a few seconds and then the box goes "back to sleep". Weird thing is, that the box behaves exactly the same when pluggged into a power outlet. Opened the box (guided by your excellent video) and looked for visible flaws, but couldn't find any. Then checked the battery (with a multimeter) and it was somehwere around 3,5V (so it was charged as far as I could see). Do you have any idea, what it could be & if that is repairable ?!? I'd appreciate your help - thanks in advance ! Roland

I think it is likely that the buttons are damaged.
if due to battery, your pk5 can still boot
@@repairandrework If its plugged in the charger, it start, but a half second later, it turns off. Without the charger, it wont start.
Were you able to solve the issue? I am currently experiencing the same issue with the red and yellow blinking lights
