    Thanks man. Good tips. I love my 300L. Torque wrench is probably a good idea. I am at 11300 km and have had it serviced where I bought it at the prescribed intervals. Mods for off road touring I did myself (or with a friend helping) except for a Honda skid (bash) plate I bought from the dealership when I picked it up last June. Great bike! Went on a 10 day 2000+ km fully loaded moto camping trip with 6 other friends in the mountains of BC Canada this June.

    Great video! What brand short clutch and brake levers did you install? Any modifications required during install? Do you like them?

      Hi Thank you! They are JFG racing off amazon. I do like them now that I'm used to using 3 fingers, my friend has the crf ones and they are longer. here is the link, I would watch the price on these because they were 10$ cheaper when I ordered them. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B093PXZWGH?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=excitebikes-20&linkId=77eef5efa92c1019cff7f1f10125e703&language=en_CA&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

      would recommend the acerbis. use it for like 2 months on TET and difficult terrain, took a few hard hits, still fine.

    Geeat video! How often do you lube the chain? After how many KM approximately? Thanks!

    • @excitebikes2751
      @excitebikes2751  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I would say about 200-300 km in normal conditions. More often if you drive in water and mud

    • @RealHooksy
      @RealHooksy ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don’t bother lubing your chain if it an o ring type.
      They are internally lubed from the factory.
      Clean it when it’s dirty and hit it with wd40 and that’s all you need to do to it.
      You can lube it if you like, but it only attracts more dirt.
      Plus keep it adjusted.
      I’ll let you search for how to do that yourself 😎

    What tooth sprockets did the bike come with? Have you adjusted the TPS on your bike sensor for better performance.

    • @marcochavane3124

      Do you mean adjusting the throttle cable?

    • @excitebikes2751
      @excitebikes2751  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a 40 tooth sprocket I am going to change it out fora bigger one to give more pull in the low end . Is that a thing you can do? Adjust the throttle position sensor for a performance boost?

    Perhaps if you had a service manual, you would realize the importance of also having torque wrenches and using them to avoid over-torqueing your bolts (I'm guessing those sprocket bolts are just about to snap).

    • @excitebikes2751

      The point of that is to check to see if anything is loose , Not to tighten something to the point of breaking, Some common sense is needed

      Honda service manuals suck. I bought one for my new CT125 Trail and it was a waste of money. A LOT of needed info was left out. I questioned it and found out some tree hugger wanted to save a few trees so they shorten the manual. I was pretty ticked. I like service manuals for all my stuff so I can properly maintain it. Not happy with Honda about that right now.
