I’m trying and keep ripping out. I’m having a problem with it curling not laying flat. What am I doing wrong?

Hello D N. Two possibilities:
1) maybe you have pulled the thread too tight
2) the gap in between the beads is too big

@@LorembyChristina Mine is also curling. Could. it be because I'm only using size 11 beads and not using the one size 8?

You can use any beads size 😊 using all size 11 sb not a problem. You might pulled the string too tight or the gap in between the beads is too big

When I finish earrings like this, I put a coat of clear nail polish on to harden them.

Hi, if you want it to be hard, you can coat with clear nail polish. About the wavey, it could be you pull the thread too hard and not hard enough. Hope it’s help ☺️
