@@supersayianpeter10 the most likely thing is that Michael really didn't like the sound of sega genesis, because in 1994 when the game was released, Michael Jackson's image was already fine.

@NotaPizzaGRL When Michael worked with Sega on Moonwalker for the Genesis/Megadrive, the system was considered cutting-edge, but by 1993 it was starting to show its age. Also, by this point there where now games with CD quality audio had the Y2FM2612 blown out the water so you see why Michael was dissatisfied and left the project.
