    This tutorial on assembly covers various topics starting from Siemens NX Basics, including 2-D sketching and Part/Assembly modeling. The assembly comprises multiple components like Piston Rod, Piston Rod Cap, Piston Head, Crank Shaft, Engine Block, Engine Cylinder Head, and more. Initially, the Piston Rod part is created, followed by each component being designed separately without interrelation, known as the Bottom-up designing process. During this method, parts are individually designed, and then all parts and subassemblies are integrated into the main assembly using assembly constraints. Any modifications made to the parts will be reflected in the assembly as well.

    We will learn the below features in Siemens NX 2212.
    1. Create 2D sketches of Datum Planes like XY, YZ and XZ with the help of Line, Circle, Rectangle, 3 Point Arc tools etc.
    2. Using Extrude & Revolve commands.
    3. Extrude & Extrude with Subtract Boolean operation.
    4. Revolve & Revolve with Subtract Boolean operation.
    6. Hole Features command.
    7. Move the Face, Rectangular Pattern Feature, and Rotate feature along with the axis.
    8. Mirror Feature.
    9. Chamfer.
    10. Using a Bridge Curve command, is the most important tool.
    11. Use of Surface tools.
    12. Create multiple new surfaces, Trim the Surface, Sew Surfaces etc.
