  • This episode is sponsored by Dick's House of Sport in Knoxville. They have great gear for every UT fan! Joey Kent is one of the best wide receivers to ever play at the University of Tennessee, and he still holds several receiving records. In this episode he reveals the time he got hit so hard he had to have his tongue sewn back together. Woah! He also shares some classic behind-the-scenes stories that VOL fans will love, including the famous touchdown on Play #1 against Alabama in 1995, as well as playing with Peyton Manning, Charlie Garner, Heath Shuler, and Tee Martin.

Loved the podcast. I remember Joey as such a great player but I got to see him as a person. He is definitely someone to admire. I am so glad to hear you talk about your faith. I thank both of you so much. Volunteers for life.

Great podcast. I coached Joey on a Y.M.C.A. teeball Allstar team. Great football player, but more than that, he's a great young man.
