Captain Kerk is on a roll this year. He is quite a physical specimen.
How about his competition graduated? There are guys who are very good who might be champions but have one or two guys a step ahead of them. Gable is gone, Paris is gone. Kirk moved up because of their absence.
Gable moved up after Cassar graduated.
That's pretty common, it's no slight against Kerk.
Goes to show what that extra year or two does in the college wrestling room compared to the guys who are just coming into a college wrestling room.
Caesars 5 minutes of fame
Did kerk get hurt he just stopped and it seemed like he could easily get a major if he pushed a little harder.
Was there a Mich wrestler who didn't get hit with a well-earned stalling this meet?
