Intra vs. Extra is based on what you need to recharge. So being sociable and requiring alone time to charge up is intravert. More so than a mixture of the two. 😁

Lol me to! I feel like whenever I'm out an about im always down to get into something. But something about sitting infront the computer for 12 hrs knocking shit sound sooooo much better lol that may just be me 🤷♂️
I too, am somewhat of a hybrid...I like collaborating but simply CANNOT do it if an artist is breathing down my neck and sitting behind me as I work. It's very counter productive for me. How does one handle situations like this?

I feel like the term introvert often gets confused with self doubt. Like the person asking the question in the beginning, he says he is having a hard time putting out music..I don't see that as an introvert problem..I see that as a self doubt problem, like he doubts his own quality. As far as introvert goes, I am very much like you Decap. I spent my last 20 years as a dj which made me an extrovert as well as an introvert simply because I got the "overdose" of being social when being a dj..but on my free time I went into hibernation..so I value my alone time A LOT now. Now that I have quit dj´ing I spend almost all my time at home producing, working on my craft and building. I don't like big crowds anymore. However, sometimes I NEED people around me otherwise I fall deep into my own mind. It can be quite dangerous though to put a name on what you are feeling..names such as depression, anxiety, introvert etc..because sometimes you just feel bad, having an off day or something, but people seem to be very quick to diagnose themselves to have depression or anxiety. And when they do that it becomes dangerous because those illnesses are really bad and it takes over your life quick! That said, it is good to be self aware and to know who you are, just don't call your bad day depression. That in the long run will only give you actual depression. And if you do struggle with stuff like this, reach out to a professional and try to get help.
