Narcissists are always looking for approval from others to improve their self-esteem. They depend on this approval and can't function without it. Because they want to look better, they take the health, vigor, and energy of those around them.
They openly use manipulation to get people to do what they want and gather followers who do what they say without question. They don't take responsibility for their actions, which makes people in close relationships with narcissists feel trapped and obligated to do whatever the narcissist wants.
Even though narcissists seem confident, they are actually very insecure. They are afraid that people will think badly of them because they know that their outward appearance hides a lack of truthfulness. They are always on guard because they are afraid, and lying is a normal part of how they act.

I had a "friend" that her husband creates a personality of her, like a very femenine, suhmisive woman, and she behaved like a servant,,va nurse, always paying attention to him, making bullying of her, and she became more sweet, they l7ved 40 years married until he died, she is now the real woman, so simple and she stop acting.
