This should have been thought of before construction. Not as time goes by. If that's normal way of doing business than beware of the new landfill location. Do it and take care of the mess it creates later. Ask the small businesses. Only the big box store will survive. And look what happens when they pull out, who will pick up the slack then. Mom and pop stores are what kept Hawaii alive back then during the plantation days that's what will keep it alive now.

    Wait, let mne understand this...
The City has been building rail in Waipahu and the Pearl City/Pearlridge corridor, where there are a slew of businesses, and they are only running into this problem now?!?! What's the difference between there and the Dillingham corridor?!?! Time to get nervous Iwilei and Chinatown!

HART will help all these businesses survive the rail construction and when its over they will be forced to close so condos can be built just like in Waipahu where Don Quijote and Times supermarket is shutting down so condos can be built.
