I think you just discovered the recipe for Santa guppy lol
Theres a great chance that this is the recipe we really dont know. Some old breeders wont tell us how they get the strain. But atleast you see the result in this crossbreeding :)

I would also try a reverse cross of your new F-1 Males back to a full gold female and see what you get. You might get more full gold color on the bodies but the red tail might come through on the males. I love the blue metal color on the F-1 males.

And breed thier babies with the first pairing I hope that you get very good results
Try female gold + male Dumbo. In experiences I've had they tend to pull more to the mothers genetics. Well it's the same for chickens they pull I think it was 60/40 to the mothers side. Hope it helps good luck bro. Aloha.

I would try crossing back the F-1 Females from the first cross back to the full gold male gull wing guppies. I would pick females with the widest pectorals and caudal fins and see what you get. Good luck.

i think you should have choseesn the selctrive breeding method, where you have a group of gold guppys then you scho the ones with the biggest fins the breed them and chooses their ofrprin with that biggest fins and countuie to to death and till it gets big without destroying the gold genes, so they can breed true.
Crossbreed guppies are healthier and can handle disease spread better than pure bred because they have more variety of genes..
