    This was my first trip to Pamilacan Island in Bohol. After living here in Bohol for almost 2 years it was great to finally go.
    The island has only recently opened to non-residents again and the tourist boats are limited to half capacity.
    Thanks to BoholDiversClub.com and La Sirenita Dive Resort for an amazing night and day.

    Pamilacan Island is small island off the south of Bohol. It’s about an hour boat from Baclayon, which is also where you can get the commuter boat. Personally, I recommend going with a certified tour company for a smooth trip.
    In this episode of the vlog we start out from Alona Beach. On our way there, we spot a school of dolphins. After we drop off the divers, my friends and I head to the island to explore. We visit the old Spanish Fort and hang out in water under the shade of a large tree. After snorkeling we get back in the boat and have a BBQ lunch before heading back to Panglao.
    I hope you enjoy the episode 🤙

    I remember pamilican island and balicasag island in year 2002 no one live there not one house not even a tent stayed 3weeks in panglao island now these three island is unrecognizable over populated?

    • @BoholisAwesome
      @BoholisAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm. To my knowledge many of the houses here have been there for a very long time. We’ll before 2002. In Pamilacan the Spanish Fort has been there for 200 years and people have been living there ever since. Maybe you went to the less populated side? Most of the population are fishermen and their families. Not many resorts. Most people just visit for the day.

    I used to go there in the 80's and early 90's. There were only a few houses there and no resorts. The people there used to hunt whales. Now, they're into the whale watching business. It makes more money than whale hunting and they don't have to worry about the Coast Guard or something

    How much is the fare going to pamilacan?

    • @BoholisAwesome
      @BoholisAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. The pricing depends on how big your group and if you want to do diving or just snorkeling. You also have options for bbq on the boat. The best deals are to follow Bohol Divers Club Dive Center on Facebook. They announce trips and deals to Balicasag and Pamilacan Island often. Hope that helps. 🤙

      Hello. Sorry I don’t speak Tagalog but I think you’re asking about drinking water. They have desalination station there to make drinking water for the residents. They also have wells for shower and cleaning water.
