It would have been awesome to win that game last night. At the end of the day winning 2 of 3 is still good and now there is an opportunity to take care of the Giants.

Closing statement made my day lol. Everyone wants to freak out cause we've lost some games. Barring a complete disaster, there's no way this team isn't getting into the playoffs. All we can hope for is everyone staying healthy and contributing the way they have been
Last night was a kick in the nuts. Please god I hope they win tonight to help us forget about it
Last night will sting for awhile. Our gap to be out of playoffs is 3.5 games. You have to find way to win when up 3-0 in 9th. With 2 outs. Look at Mets and Braves schedule we are gonna need at least 90 wins to be safe. Have tough games left 2 at sea 3 at SF 3 vs Houston 3 at LA and 3 at Az that’s not a cake walk by any means
We should be able to win the SF series both at home and on the road.

Still not over that loss yesterday... lol if we had a more comfortable lead in the wild card standings it wouldn't matter too much, but 3 games ahead is nothing really. There's still enough games to have another colosal collapse. We cant depend on the d backs, mets, braves to lose, we need to win the type of games like last night.

Fans are freaking out over Suarez, i would say to those fans clam down, he had an off night, it happens to the best of them. The pitch yesterday for the GS was high and the Tiger just got enough barrel on the ball to get it over the wall, if he misses by 1/2" it's a pop up, game over. Yes, Suarez hast been as sharp lately but maybe that early season overuse, pitching multiple 2-inning outings at a time when the bullpen was a mess might be catching up, this is the most innings Suarez has pitched in his career. I remember Hoffman was like this early in his career always putting on runners on base and managing to work around it and get the save, that has been Suarez this season.
Playing about .500 ball since the All Star game won’t cut it.
The Padres are 29-12 since the All Star Game, not bad.
