Great lesson and an excellent point about the sign that Rome placed on the cross to identify Christ as the King of the Jews. Like you said they acknowledged that Christ is the King of Jews and came for the nation of Israel. Just one of the many scriptures that state plainly who Christ came to redeem. Israel is the world without end which is so deep and profound especially because the scriptures declare that the earth was made for Israel.
