Is pure poetry, Is thinking out loud in music, not be ashamed to cry, to laugh or to pain And the best, resolution Is a masterpiece and the playing heaven Thank you
A masterpiece and an extraordinary playing, this is behind words Poetry, tears, fear, love, every things in here The strings are not only in the guitar, are in the heart Thank you for sharing beauty
Thank you so much for your very kind words. Studio recording of this piece will be also on my next album “Mystique” for Chandos. All my very best to you!
Koyunbaba means sheepfather in turkish. I guess the shepherd was having the worst day ever. anyway, this piece is full of agony and probably the best interpretation.
What you've just made with this song? It seemed that a war was about to start and there were drums and batallions getting in, and soldiers boldly marching toward the Warfield and stuff like this. Wow...I'm speechless! !!! Superb
Congratulations. I've played Koyumbaba many years ago and I've been deeply listening and feeling the way you felt it. It is really difficult to explain with written words, but THANK YOU for this.
Wonderful music , personally I have to say his breathing soiled it a little for me , but i do admire those characteristics also as the embodiment of the player and the piece.... :)
I don't get that long introduction, I think it doesn't work. Also, I don't think you have to be too decorative in your interpretation with those trills and extra notes or with that huge rubato. Duty of care to the composer, don't try to change it you much because it loses its form. At least this is my opinion, I wouldn't play it like that.
This interpretation is direct translation of my soul through the guitar strings. Keep broadcasting MAESTRO MEISINGER. We all need sometimes our soul to look in the mirror and find out the deep beauty of being we are. Respect.
Music goes beyond all your meaningless interpretations. Breathing is bothering you because interfieres with your musical appreciation????? Dont make me laugh, first try to play it and then understand the human fact of playing music. Take out all those nonsense you learned from your music school off your ass and PLEASE be human when listening to anyone else playing. Domeniconis recommendation is that you need to improove his composition with your own ideas and ornaments. Because of comments like this is that I left college/guitar to you close minded people, Ill be happy playing how and when i want to do it.
Seems damn good to me I am not a believer in the literal written notes As the musical staff is purely incapable of harnessing the true life of the music itself And without the musicianship There is no experience We are not computer robots We are musicians Keep up the great work 👌
I find the intro is beautiful and delicate. I think what makes Koyunbaba a masterpiece is that each player could interpret it in his own unique way, so it would be enjoyable to discover different plays.
I never knew that william shatner is also playing violin in an orchestra... What..is Meisinger reading a newspaper while performing..? Wow..what an unusual concert. (no, i am not a blonde..lol) Anyways..best koyunbaba i've seen and heared to date. Must admit even better than the master himself, although domeniconi encouraged everybody to improvise meisinger should not drift too far from the original.. Would have been nice to hear the applause from the audiance too... also part of the performance I think.
This is fascinating. Giant chunks of the third movement are just not there, replaced by what seems like previously worked out improv. I have to admit, I really don’t like it. The whole performance seems self indulgent in the extreme, the old guy behind seems to agree with me. However, we need more of this in the classical guitar world. People not afraid to express a personal voice and be ‘out there’ It’s not for me but bravo to Krzysztof for going for it.

Fui obrigado a falar dele no Noite em Paris. Cada dia me encanto mais!

I’m in tears
Really wish you could publish this arrangement of yours so that we can also learn and play it. Really loved this version... Thanks Maestro Meisinger!
Really appreciate that more often the other star of the guitar concert is also mentioned..I am talking about the make of the guitar👍
my soul wandered through time.
What a passion.. amazing
Wow some of best Music i ever heard! What a blessing
the genius of this artist is on a par with the genius of the author of this composition
Wow. I am speechless. This is so amazing i dunno what to say. Very high respect. ❤️🙏
Chapeau bas!!!!
Very powerful and haunting performance. This man definitely knows the instrument and this song.
Interesting, I like this masterpiece through you. I'm not always in tune with your energy but... That sure is something to be heard and felt.
Awesome
No.1 koyunbaba playing
Nice work my brother 👊 give you 👍🔔😉
A Carlo Domeniconi le gusta esto!
Wielki kunszt,precyzja i emocje.
Your phrasing is outstanding !
Impressionante! Glória a Deus por Ele nos dar o privilégio de ouvir essa bela obra!
Bravissimo, Lei è un vero musicista. Lei non suona la chitarra, Lei è la chitarra.
Wow! Niesamowite!!!
Interisting, but that damn microphone captured all of his breaths!
Speechless.

so powerfull
He is oblivious to the people around him. Totally immersed in music. Lily Afshar, Li Jie are some others who play this piece beautifully.
Wonderful music , personally I have to say his breathing soiled it a little for me , but i do admire those characteristics also as the embodiment of the player and the piece.... :)
Very nice 😉
Z popielnika na Wojtusia.... świetne❤
I like this 😚
What a ham!
Pięknie :)
Świetna gra :)
I feel the piece is perfect as it is. Great effort and technique though. Bravo!
I'm gonna have to disagree, I don't think he took anything from the piece but added much more.
This is kinda dark.. This is good
Nice
are you playing flamenco triplet at 15:40? or ? thanks

HenryDavidT you sounded intense dude. This guy, meisinger, is a player likewise I have never seen before.

The interpretation, although different, is really good, but I couldn't listen to it more than 5 minutes due to heavy breath. It was just too much.
Leci like :)

Is somebody knows how this guitar is tuning?
C# G# C# G# C# E (from low to high)
No bro D A D A D F
C# minor.
What is the real tuning? Im practice in c#minor... Is that real version?
dont know, but im practicing in this version too. Sounds like the "real" version
1th!!!
Very different than Domeniconi's version.
Magically played... however I wish you didn't breathe so loudly!
