Even I totally agree with you brother! The instrument cluster was the essence of the older Himalayan that made it more appealing whenever the biker sat on it and got that cockpit view. RE should have digitised the older cluster meter (with similar aesthetics) to some extent and added it into the 450 Himalayan. It is unfortunate that before I could buy the 411, the newer version came and the older one got discontinued. Amazing video by the way. You have got the 411, keep it with yourself even if you upgrade to 650 Himalayan or any other. That's something more than just a motorcycle. Lots of wishes!!!👍👍
Great review and nice to see how the Himalayan responds when two up slicing through traffic. Agree on the small screen and prefer the one on your 411 so I will order the touring one for my Himalayan but deliveries in England not for another 3 months. I think the vibrations above 5000 revs will drop as more miles are covered - the running in looks to be a staged mileage and very few test rides have been on bikes above 2 or 3000 km when those higher revs should be used. Will be intersting to get some owners updates when those bikes have compeletd the correct 'breakin/running in' and then know the longer term effects rather than the many high speed/new bike test curently available on youtube. My BMW R1200 models always take a few thousand miles of break-in before they are really smooth, the older oil cooled versions took 5000mile to stop using engine oil and the later water cooled R1200RS I now have took a lot less miles but is better after 15k than it was when new. Looking forward to get my Hanle Black, tubeless and will add plenty of RE accessories!
Has the 450 been launched in England? Yes I agree the vibrations will settle down as the engine settles down. And I am on board with the idea of staged mileages and staged quality of product, marketing most times is a sham. It’s sad because only sham sells. Congratulations in advance for the Hanle Black, she is very very sexy! I saw it in person in the showroom that day, unfortunately only the Kaza Brown was available to test ride. The Hanle Black was a delivery piece. But I couldn’t stop looking at her! All the best for your adventures Dave, never stop the throttle!
Bhiya actually i love Bajaj Dominar 400 i know it's fast and torque, but still do you think himalyan 411 will be a good option for me!? cause i am in love with himalyans dasing look... And right now m riding Ntorq125 2020 model. (please help me out to choose a better bike)🙏
If you want to do Fast touring then go for the Dominar but if you want to very long distance and extreme off roading and any terrain riding then go for the Himalayan. Both bikes are great in their own ways. But I doubt you will be able to get Himalayan 411 it’s discontinued.
@@CaptainEscape I was literally watching your video which has a caption (I Found The Coolest Biker Cafe in Goa) and was expecting your reply to my comment and when I opened the notification, I was soo happy looking at your reply 😁!!
Unfortunately I didn’t get to ride her for a very long time. But judging by the little amount of traffic I rode in, her was very light. Weight management is top class. My old Himalayan feels much much heavier. But both of them are very flickable at the same time. Honestly, I don’t see why the Himalayan 450 cannot be used for your college commute. BUT I would strongly suggest to make a final call yourself after you ride her. Don’t fall into the trap of influencers and motovloggers blindly promoting stuff for goodwill with companies and money.
Hey man. How comfortable was the Himalayan 450 for the pillion and how spacious was it for you? Also yeah we get you man ( the new Himalayan doesn't feel like a royal Enfield, more like a scaled down Tiger 900)
Both were comfortable tho the 411 has softer seats. The 450 does come with the option of touring seats but I don’t trust the touring seats given by companies itself. It’s better to get it made from outside. For the rider it’s damn spacious. And yes it does feel like the Tiger. RE has hit it out of the stadium with this one. Actually in my opinion they should have priced it a bit higher.
Low end torque is a little sluggish, the mid range is where the force is. Vibrations also kicked in after 4500rpm and in heavy traffic you will find some heating, high compression engine, but you get used to it as you ride and plus I guess after the first service the heating goes down drastically. Even in my 411 the heating went down after the first service. But I obviously advice take a proper test ride in traffic and on the highway before you decide, the motorcycle is worth the price. In fact I think they priced it lower than they actually should have priced it. Overall, a really good motorcycle.
@@aadithmenon7356Yea usage will soften it but then it becomes so soft that on longer rides you can literally feel the bars beneath the seat. Anything ride above 200 kms to do at a stretch becomes painful. Pillion and rider seat both. For both the motorcycles, a little more softening for the seats need to be done!
Single Person Ride is More Powerfull Than With Pillion + Reducing the Weight by Simply Removing Unneeded Rods& Steel, Nuts&Bolts showing by Some TH-camr Gonna make More Powerfull Himalayan.💪
U r blind obviously it looks like hero expulse but size of the tank is larger it is true but old himalyan look is totally different and not compare with any other one .

Which one feels lighter when parking or moving back?? 411 or 450?
I think the 450 feels lighter. Much better weight management
Tank look like a tiger trumph
You are not wrong.
Do u feel any low end torque issue or heating or vibration issue..is it gud to invest in this bike
Low end torque is a little sluggish, the mid range is where the force is. @@CaptainEscape do u feel lag delay in throttle due to ride by wire..kya y rectified ho jyga baad m software ya service se
Only slight.
After riding both which one you prefer ?
411 !!!
The kill switch issue is pretty much debatable. The tank very much resembles the Africa twin ❤
Yes it’s all about who’s comfortable with what!
@@CaptainEscape exactly
Cannot see anything on the tft screen as it flickers a lot.
It’s a GoPro issue. The TFT is really good in real life.

Where is the paiiisa 😭
I can't stop listening to the pretty exhaust dudee
Hahaha tbh same!!
You buyt that bike?
No. Test ride for review video only.
Wonderful review I wanna know how your pillion felt about the ride as per her comfort. 😅
The Himalayan 411 has a softer pillion seat. The 450 was a little harder.
@@CaptainEscape shouldn't it get better with the use? It could be possible that the cushion softens after use
