Isaac didn't die on this movie; he was possesed by "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" and he fall into a comma for 19 years. He awaken on the 6th movie of the saga.
True, but as Row's most loyal servant, he also held himself over the other kids, arrogantly presuming to be the unquestionable voice of authority. And as with most horror stories, the one who tries to use great evil for his own gain is usually one of the first to go. The kids were greater victims than Isaac for being humbled into following him. Isaac believed he had more power than the others, but they proved that he didn't when they took him over and offered him up to Rows.
amen to that. last year, we were taking a road trip and we passed this corn field and my dad who saw the movie before me, put his foot down and the gas and drove off like 100 miles an hour. and i'm like dad wtf? he shakes his head and he said that cornfields scare him...i had no idea why until i saw this movie
Like a girl but then you are a girl… Right? Most Jessica’s are girls… Right? But Isaac… Was actually a dwarf so I understand the pitch. But none of the other kids are adult midgets but actual adults… So This movie while hilarious has no consistency with the whole kids aren’t allowed to age past 18 and live plot.
I think it devoured them. It pulled the first dude underground so we never see him again. But in full view of everyone it creeps up and covers Isaac, eating away his spirit/mind/whatever. And it takes off into the sky with his body. That's why he comes back all dirty and possessed by the demon. That's Isaac's body, but it's technically not Isaac. He devoured Isaac on the cross.
Seems like they all knew they had fucked up after seeing Amos get devoured. What I don’t understand is why Isaac would bother pleading. Is Isaac in communication with He Who Walks Behind the Rows or not? Or maybe Isaac was just too scared to tell HE the situation before HE got there.
In the children of the corn 3: urban harvest, "he who walks behind the rows" is revealed at the end of the movie. It's some kind of beast the children worshiped. Am I right? reply...
Outside of the fact that they all deserved to die for killing their parents, ya. Malachi was power tripping. That demon may have killed very last one of them in a fit of rage, if not for Burt and Jobey. Isaac was the only mediator, and the warning in his tone when he told Malachi “they MUST be sacrificed BOTH tonight”, was a blunt “as a matter of fact” warning. But Malachi took it as being directly towards him and his failure, and his pride was got to him.
2OGLOC2 Of course Isaac deserved it. There is no doubt about that. He is a delusional, coward and annoying little bastard; Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones reminds me of him a lot. He relies on and manipulates Malachi to do the “dirty job” and commit all the murders he cannot commit himself. He is arrogant and dismissive, and overlooks that Malachi is stronger than him and has slowly proved himself to be a more effective leader. That being said, I can’t help but admire John Franklin’s eerily charismatic portrayal of Isaac and his ability to act out convincingly Isaac’s fear and sense of helplessness in the end. These are perhaps the only reasons I am able to empathize with the character.
Keshan Gibson How about you give us a break with your overly pretentious “I have a crush on Isaac” attitude? Being emotionally immature until a certain age is acceptable. Being obsessed beyond reason with a fictional character (who embodies nothing of value, by the way) and dismissing people’s opinions in a childlike patronizing manner are issues you may need to consider. Besides, you don’t seem to know what “making fun of someone” actually means.
I think it might be Satan, because Isaac refers to him in one scene as 'the god of hell', and we all know who THAT is. All I know is, I'm never setting foot in a cornfield ever again. :P
I just listened to the movie podcast from "Now Playing" and the movie reviewers said how awful this "Hanna Barbera" animation was. It's ok for a cheap 1984 movie though.
Basicly this movie is about kids who discover the magic of weed and when they have too much they take god's wrath into their own hands...ok thats was my rendistion of this movie but no I love Stephen King and all his work...even if it does use the special effects of an air compressor to launch a straw cross a good few feet into the air whoo-hoo
I finally found out Chroner is the last name of Isaac? Stephen King never gave him a last name, he is only Isaac (And so many of the other kids) with no last names XD LOL
Between the awkward animation, Issac's childish screaming, and the kids' reactions, I find this scene hilarious!
And what might that psychotic girl have done had Amos not been enthusiastic about offering himself?
Isaac Chroner one of the greatest villains of cinematic history RIP (1972-1984)
Isaac didn't die on this movie; he was possesed by "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" and he fall into a comma for 19 years. He awaken on the 6th movie of the saga.
He needed more scenes the kid had acting chops .
And even though Isaac kept yelling "NO!" He was nonetheless taken.
Baby you're a firework
That's not random
The way Malachai's holding Vicky .. oh how i wish that was me.
LOL! I think we all need to be children of the corn.
This is an example of why you shouldn't get involved in satanic rituals!
John Franklin is the best at children of the corn
Fact
Wow !
He turned into a firework !!
Ok
But here's something u don't know. He didn't really die. just in a coma. You'll find out in Children of the corn 666 Issac's return.
True, but as Row's most loyal servant, he also held himself over the other kids, arrogantly presuming to be the unquestionable voice of authority.

What did Issac hope to gain?
@@genghiskahn1989power
He want you too, malachi!
hey isaac's my english teacher!!! lol Mr. Sal :D
The actor of Isaac was also 25 years old when they filmed this movie. :]
I love how Isaac shoots into the air. I laughed my head off when I saw that.
And though he kept yelling "NO!" It came for him anyway.
amen to that. last year, we were taking a road trip and we passed this corn field and my dad who saw the movie before me, put his foot down and the gas and drove off like 100 miles an hour. and i'm like dad wtf? he shakes his head and he said that cornfields scare him...i had no idea why until i saw this movie
Thats cool to have a celebrity as an instructor. If anyone fails his class, he'll sacrifice ya, lol
Didn't know he is doing whatever he wants to do Dead redemption you too
I love Isaac i felt so bad for him in this scene, i was crying with him....lol
Ngl same

It's crazy to think that frank ( Isaac's actor) was actually 24 when he did this movie
I think it devoured them. It pulled the first dude underground so we never see him again. But in full view of everyone it creeps up and covers Isaac, eating away his spirit/mind/whatever. And it takes off into the sky with his body.

Why did it killed Issac after he served him faithfully?
He comes back in Children of the corn666: Isaacs return
Seems like they all knew they had fucked up after seeing Amos get devoured. What I don’t understand is why Isaac would bother pleading. Is Isaac in communication with He Who Walks Behind the Rows or not? Or maybe Isaac was just too scared to tell HE the situation before HE got there.
This may surprise you but Issac never really died, he was just in a coma for 19 years but he'll rise again.
His voice is no anoying !! I was so happy when the art attack effect kill him!
I just want to know how it killed he, like what it did to him
@@Sue_Blue_ frrr
his voice sounds Nevel from icarly😂
lmao fr
look all i'm saying here is that he dosen't really die here but yes in 666 he does get finished off but not here.
In the children of the corn 3: urban harvest, "he who walks behind the rows" is revealed at the end of the movie. It's some kind of beast the children worshiped. Am I right? reply...
I think that He-Who-Walks-Behind-the-Rows thing possessed Issac; it literally blasted itself into him.
I felt so bad when he was crying, even though he was a douche, I loved him.
Oof same

Poor little dude… He looks terrified.
If you watched the movie you would understand he deserved it
you do understand he murdered every adult in that town right?
he started the cult watch the movie

Isaac sounds like my neighbor when he screams. lol
fucking hilarious!! HAHA

@SamarieRichmend The thing is he wasn't really dead until the last sequel.
I'm here lord. I'm ready. Take me now lord. Your will lord. I'm happy. AAARRRGGGH. (Growl, Growl, Munch, Munch)
An awesome and satisfying sound, that is.
'I did as you commanded, i was good, (im sorry?) I did everything you wanted, nooo, ahhh!' *Really bad 80's effects* *bitch squeal*
*dead*
@SamarieRichmend He was 25? wow I did not know that
I just LOVE Isaac's girly scream...
Damn, I liked him too...
Why couldn't Malachai die first?
@SamarieRichmend Isaac isn't dead he was in a coma, He Who Walks Behind The Rows had put him in a coma.
Why he put him in coma?
I did everything you commanded! I was GOOOOD! I swear it! I did everything you wanted!
Noooo! NOOOO!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! *Boom-Whoosh*
ISAAC GOT WHAT DESERVED
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!😱
One of the funniest scenes in film history.
Pop goes the cutest boy in the movie. [Save Jobi... he's adorable!]
oh, that is so hot.
What happened to Amos and Rachel family ?
1:07 - 1:09 what did issac say?
Best Scene in the movie ..!!!
Omigosh, I haven't seen this since I was four. Man this used to scare the hell out of me. I would have night mares for months after watching this.
No wonder, u were 4 and this is a rated 15-18 movie
Ever watched the making of? It's far less creepy when you know it's just a wheelbarrow they pulled along under the ground lol!
P.s why does the cute guy has to die
the first and 2nd film scared me, especially the scene when the lady got squished under her house, but after that they got ridiculously crappy
wasnt his end in the 6th movie?
Is Isaac telling he who walks behind the rows not to sacrifice him???or is he talking to the children??
He’s telling he who walks behind the rows
MalachaiBoardman he's 25,if he was 17 like you say,now he's 42,he was born at 1959,not at 1967.
Correct :-) the book explains that too :-)
I'm a little confused at what the light was. I know it's a demon but like how did it kill him? And how did the other guy die, the same way?
this movie confuses me. are they worshipping the devil or god...or something else and this issac guy is cute whats wrong with him?
hes my english teacher:)
THAT DAMN SCREAMING STILL MAKES ME LAUGH!!!!!!!
Hey it's Fred! And guess what? I'm turning into corn? AAAAAAAAAAH*BOOM*!
"And then it exploded."
where did he get blasted too? space
if you stop it at 1:40 you get one creepy visual, how come Isac screams like a little girl?
Hehe, yeah. Now whenever we drive past corn I'm like "The Amish kids are going to kill meee!"
1:06 reminded me of (Hey it's) Fred for some reason...maybe the voice...
so mister SK came up with the Graboid huh
Why don't we just call it what it really is: Fred Phelps! :)
at 1:04 issac sounds like a guy from southpark xDDDD
Why do I feel like Isaac and Joffrey Baratheon would be best friends who would end up turning on one another?
Oh come like that u guys didn't hear him scream while being shot off that cross know that was scary
i love isaac it was bad that he had die in the movie
Not bad 80's effects, their funds ran out and had to make some crappy substitute for HWWBTR.
wow.
I just listened to the movie podcast from "Now Playing" and the movie reviewers said how awful this "Hanna Barbera" animation was. It's ok for a cheap 1984 movie though.
haha he sounds like fred when he dies
Does anybody else think that be a fun amusement park ride?
HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH very funny
That's "Malachi"
i dont get it, what exactly happened to him?
fred?
this movie was so stupid and funny!
i know he dies in that film but all i'm saying is he dosen't die in this film when people are to believe that he did.
ohh
I guess IMDB was wrong. They say he was born in 1959
1:05
Should be titled "The End Of Isaac Chroner's Reign" since he lived and was in 666
Basicly this movie is about kids who discover the magic of weed and when they have too much they take god's wrath into their own hands...ok thats was my rendistion of this movie but no I love Stephen King and all his work...even if it does use the special effects of an air compressor to launch a straw cross a good few feet into the air whoo-hoo
