Most people don’t really think much, believe it or not. It’s far easier to act on impulse than to stop and think, no matter how easy or hard it is. I know this from personal experience from interacting with some fandoms. The Eminence in Shadows fandom, for example. At least half of them don’t think much about the story, and think it’s just a funny comedy. There’s just a lot of really bad casual fans who don’t think twice about anything.
Imagine being paul, first child is basically Einstein, second child is also a genius and the last one is just normal, going from 300mph to sudden stop, talk about whiplash.

I'm an anime only and i understand Norns and Aishas Character. Paul said in the Letter that Norn and Aisha don't like each other. So it was cleary mentioned in the Anime. People really need to pay attention and use their brain.
Well, the university arc its literally a slice of life arc xd, and when he returns from **spoiler** that maze, the story went back to slice of life for a little bit
@@thegoldencachei thought after season 1 you would have understood that mushoku tensei is like a biography. In life sometime there is adventure sometime just everyday life.
Next episode should, hopefully, flesh out Norn's character. Also, regarding Aisha, Rudy can't do anything even if he wanted to. There are a few points where he explicitly states that he has absolutely no sexual reactions to Zenith, Norn or Aisha. Incest is the one line he will never cross.
Incest is not a sexual orientation or disease. He couldn't give Zenith a sexual reaction because he was a baby. But as we later learned from Aisha, he was watching Zenith and Paul during sex. The reason why he did not have any desire for his siblings during his school years was because they were young and he already had normal relationships. As he said, it is something that he would have liked in his previous life, but he does not have such a desire in this life. From here you can understand why he was prone to incest in his previous life, because he didn't have a normal relationships and the only females he know was his relatives.
Did they make us feel that Norn is a brat, though? I feel they made it so that Aisha is the jealous and brat one who is full of herself because of her giftedness. I even remember Norn specifically telling Ruijerd in the anime that the main reason she dislikes or treats Rudy badly is because he hit their father. But I do agree that the anime didn't convey the sisters' hatred or animosity to one another very well.
Paul literally said in his letter that they do NOT get along with each other. The first time we see them at his doorstep they’re arguing with each other and they aren’t particularly nice when talking to each other at any point. I’d say the show conveyed their relationship very well and clearly.
I've watched several reactors to this episode. Many of them like how well Aisha reacts to Rudeus --- mostly because she's so outgoing and enthusiastic. While some of them did not like how Norn responded to Rudeus when he was giving her instructions before heading out to school and how she reacts to him at school. They felt that she should have been more responsive.
Then you didn't pay attention when she broke down because she thought she will be thought less of because she is the daughter of a concubine. This is how she was treated back at their maternal grandmothers house (where the grandmother made it very clear that Aisha is not her granddaughter). She doesn't have a choice other then to shine through her intellect and capability, as she will looked down upon by default due to the religious believe system.
Mushoku Tensei just needs a directors cut in a few years, because rn they skip alot of small charakter building. And i am sure we will get norns view next ep, because rn we had rudis side were he was nice and couldnt really tell what was wrong in his eyes, but in norn eyes he wasnt nice, and you cant complain about a kid that it dosnt wanna speak open with a guy that punched your dad
There is a whole chapter from Norn's pov I hope they would adapt some bits from it in the next episode because That was one of my favourite parts in story of how the relationship between Rudeus and his sister Norn develops. Ps - Norn also could not remember Sylphy because of the change in her hair color and well she was very small when Sylphy used to visit them.
Unfortunately, in these types of situations, those stories or chapters don’t get adapted. The overwhelming majority of Anime adaptations focus on the mainest of main stories, and it’s extremely rare to see any attention on side-chapters or spin-offs. If anything, I don’t know of any Anime that does it.
The next episodes title is “my older brothers feelings” which is definitely referring to Norn’s perspective. That’s such a massive part of this little story arc. The resolution wouldn’t make sense without it. Next episode will most definitely adapt that and I hope they do it really well.
@@danielantony1882next episode is definitely going to adapt her POV. It is in no way a side story. The first half of season 2 adapted the majority of Sylphie’s chapters from her perspective. It’s far too important for them to not adapt this next one with Norn. Its absolutely crucial. Even in season one they still adapted a very very very brief summarized version of Eris’s perspective on why she left. Sure they cut out a LOT of her important actual thoughts and recollections she shared, but the anime can still make up for that when she eventually does return to the story. The anime is eventually going to have to adapt some of the story of what Eris has been up to and they can combine all of that together in the lead up much closer to when she becomes relevant again.
Also, the anime did actually show that when Syphie visited them before the teleportation incident, and Aisha was very excited to see Sylphie and went up to her, but that Norn hid. So this showed that even when Norn was young, she was fearful/bashful of Sylphie.
@@BuddyChy Hopefully, it happens as you predict. I was personally never satisfied with the direction of Re:Zero’s anime adaptation so I’m projecting that pessimism onto other great shows of similar caliber. I’m absolutely not confident Re:Zero will get out of the mess Watanabe put it in. There’s so much important side and main stuff cut out, that I physically can’t imagine how they would re-order the damn events without making it excessively convoluted. Satella especially, who’s a heroine level character, and basically controls the whole story, got butchered so bad in terms of her dialogue and overall interactions getting cut, that I’m just flabbergasted. I’ve no clue what Watanabe was thinking.
I sometimes struggle understanding other people (which is why I started watching your channel, as you're good at explaining it), but it was pretty clear to me what both of these sisters motivated. It seems that MANY viewers either don't bother trying to view things from other people's perspectives, or they are absolutely incapable of doing so at all. Either way, that's actually scary! Just imagine the real world implications...
Also, a lot of people either miss the details in the show or just forget them. But it might also be that since I read the web novel before the anime came out, that I was looking to see how much details the anime includes.
@@BQD_Central What has this to do with my comment? If someone fails to read simplified characters, do you think that they do any better at the real thing??? Reading comprehension, critical thinking, and empathy appear to be declining and narcissism rising.
The anime didn't do a poor job of portraying Norn It's more likely that people just forgot the interaction between her and Rudy since it was a long long time ago at this point
Lilia isn't a concubine btw, she's the legal second wife. She calls herself a concubine out of guilt (and Norn's grandma calls her that out of spite) but Paul properly married her as well.
Given that he saved her and her mother from captivity, I'm not surprised. Also add to that that she didn't live with him until now, it makes perfect sense.
I never judged Norn, partly because I almost forgot about her and partly because I assumed she has her reasons, which turns out to be true. A lot of conflicts in Jobless Reincarnation stem from miscommunication or a lack of communication, so it's pointless to assume anything about any character. It's better to wait and see how they develop.
@@ONeill1421 I know she had a weird interest in him from the context, doesn't mean he should fed into it no matter the age, not just because she is young. lol
@@ONeill1421 You might as well just say it instead of being annoyingly cryptic. 😒 Does Rudy reciprocate his sister's advances then? I know she has a thing with him, my point is that he shouldn't feed into it regardless, so my point still stands whether I know what happens or not.
Honestly, considering the title of the next episode my guess is it's probably going to go into more depth about the relationship and it's probably going to show more than what's shown here. But that's just my ticket someone who is read the light novel and just watching the anime
I think I big reason why some are maybe nitpicking the second season so far over cut content is due to it being a more slice of life kind of story currently. There haven't been as many exciting/big action moments in s2 as s1 for fans and it might seem like some of the little things left out are in comparison more important
Let’s hope you didn’t get the censored version, ’cause they had to reprint the whole thing after the author found out about the sus censoring they were doing.

@@deenman23 Not quite. When it comes to mental age, there are many factors to consider and it isn't as simple as being the same as how long a person has been alive. In Rudy's case, his physical age in his previous life may be 34 but his mental age then couldn't have been said to also be 34. It's arguably less and most likely have been stunted when he chose to give up on interacting with others because of being bullied in middle school. So when he reincarnated, he didn't exactly have the mind befitting of a proper 34 year old adult with actual life experiences from his past life. If anything, he reincarnated with the mind of a perverted middle schooler because that's when he mentally stopped growing in his previous life and simply succumbed to being an anti-social shut in who later became a porn addict. It's only when Roxy helped him overcome his fear of going outside in the new world that we could then say his mental age continued progressing normally from where it was left off stunted in his previous life. That's when we start to see Rudy get character development by him being able to form new relationships with different characters here and there and interacting with them in various ways.
One of the worst cut content was a bit from the first cour of Season 2, the aftermath of the whole Sara situation. Shame it wasn't included but maybe it'll be added in later.
as a parent of 4 grown kids 2b 2g I think the bian ggest issue for Norn is that she always been on the move as long as she cane remeber. Norn doesnt know how to settle a dorm is a nother kind of temporary home. I feel bad for her. also the girls haven't lived together before and do know each other yet. they are two didffrent people living together. i think given time they will grow close especily whith having Rudy and Silph as an example how to be patient and mutual understanding
As a LN reader also. I still found Norm to be bratty even in the LN. I agree with you on the first part, but after some time and especially the first couple of days with Rudy. Her still acting like that always rubbed me the wrong way.
It’s also kind of the fact where Norn doesn’t really try to understand Rudy as a person as well. And I guess, acting exactly as like a child, she’s only thinking about herself. I just hope they don’t fill up 9 episodes with this Norn nonsense. But I predict we’ll have around 4 episodes at least of her being a brat. I’m thinking back about Rudy hitting his dad though, the dad really was a POS 😤 (memories little fuzzy but I remember he deserved it)
I mean let's cut right to it. They trying not to make her out to be a pedophile and that's a good thing considering the stuff that she does later in the story and I won't spoil it for anybody else but his family is fuk up
Knowing the twitter andies if they include some content of aisha being flirty to rudeus will make a spark of PDF and INCST. They made the right choice for the anime.
I got it from the anime, but im anime only (and i watch your videos). I also watch a TON of anime so im familiar with certain tropes and animations. I definitely knew she was coming on to Rudy. But I do have another question. Did she lower her hair to purposely try to make herself look like Eris? Or was that coincidental?
Funny enough for anyone who knows the web novel, Aisha flirting with Rudeus is definitely showing some signs of a huger controversial in her character.
Right anyone who hate on Norn does not understand physiology or children or perhaps even common sense. She looked around 5 when she saw her father being beaten up. Any child would hold a grudge likely into teen years or beyond. It would take some real growth and explanation to get beyond that.
I hate Norn even though I understand where she is coming from and I don't care... She's not smart enough to understand that her father deserved to get beaten and Rudy is trying his hardest to get along with her... I understand that she's supposed to be a normal character with nothing special but I hate dumb characters so much that it does not matter about why they are this way I just hate them...
I don’t know about you but I didn’t feel AS much dislike for Norn when watching the anime as compared to when I was reading the manga. (she was very busy feeling sorry for herself while at the dorms) Although I’m pretty sure we probably have three or four more episodes of this bratty Norn nonsense. I feel like in the manga she was bratty X2 then she was in the anime. Like she really put no effort into knowing Rudy as a person at all on her end. like for many months that she was with them, Rudy treated her with respect and fairness too..! This girl really be BLIND af. People had talked a lot about and well of her brother before she had even met him (before the dad punch) and she didn’t even like him then at that time either 😒. Ok so yeah that’s my two cents lol
She's not a dumb character, she's just a kid being a kid. And it's not like Rudy explained why he beat their dad (at least so far in the anime) so wtf is she supposed to think
They remove the side characters scene like what they did to season 1 where they show a certain character on a journey. This show now only focuses on rudy and rudy only 😢 Wish they give other screen time without rudy being there. I think it's because of the Opening.
Honestly I liked Norn and wanted her to have talent , but i realized if Norn was the talented one , then Aisha will just be this untalented loser whose mother was a "concubine" so Aisha needed talent to balance it out. But Paul and Zenith were both great adventurers so naturally they will have better genes then most so if there child was just a "normal" child I would've still expected Norn to be at least above average not below average.
Lilia is no slouch either. She and Paul once trained together in swordsmanship. She also was a former bodyguard to Princess Airel before retiring due to injuries.
Well, the teleportation incident certainly didn't help. That and traveling with depressed Paul probably made it worse. Aisha on the other hand was trained right for the wrong reasons. 😂 Pick your poison.
As an anime only Norn wasn't a brat. She's just super insecure and uses a thorny personality as a defense mechanism. Some people are just dumb if they think that she's shitty and bratty.
The flirting Aisha thing honestly is not a big deal. Kind of a spoiler but not really. She won't give up flirting with Rudeus just that one time. Looking at her personality from what you saw, you think she gives up that easily? As for the Norn thing. I say let people hate her for now. Light Novel readers already know that the perspective people have on Norn will change. Not gonna say anything more than that now, cause all you need to do is just wait. Norn isn't the only one people hate that is going to change in the future. Light Novel readers know this already. I do think the fighting scene between Norn and Aisha definitely should have been included. Not necessarily for character reasons though. For world reasons as you don't get many lower skill level fights in this series. The lowest skill level fight was Rudy vs Luke and it pretty much skipped most of the monologuing that absolutely was necessary. That's from an actually important fight.
7:45 I disagree with you there. As an anime only I was able to deduct the Norm's issues like you stated. Her only relevant family connection has been her father and grandmother. And she's being bullied by Aisha unwittingly. With all that she has not much of a place to vent her problems and cacooning becomes a logical choice. Rudeus might need to intervene to help her, I am not sure how though.
For me it was clear that Norn doesn't like Rudy because he sandbagged his father. As for Aisha it was clear from season 1 that she is going to flirt with Rudy in the future😂, she is a step sister after all.
I was realllly surprised when you said people don't like Norn, I personally could not stand Aisha, she was acting incredibly entitled and belittling her sister and it was pissing me off. Norn on the other hand seems lost and confused and scared and I want to understand more about her character and help her.
I KNEW THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN This is why i love mushoku tensei. A real, honest and unbiased look at the good and bad humans do. This episode is exposing all the bad parents on the internet commenting things like "Oh my god, norn needs to learn discipline. Id have her back in the house already. She needs to do what shes told" With ZERO empathy or work to understand her perspective AT ALL. The type of parents who confuse obedience with respect and dont treat their children as people. Get fucked. Next episode is gonna make them feel like shit.
i think Aisha is trying to flirt and miserably fail may i add cuz of her mother, she literally trained the little girl to be Rudi's maid in the future, and the little girl takes the example of a maid from her mother, basically a part time maid part time concubine, idk what the intentions of her mother are but that is dam weird, even if they weren't related the whole concept is weird, but now that they are even related by blood, it is even worse.
I can’t even blame norn for being bratty. She has a decent reason for disliking Rudy, because we both know Paul would not have cleared the air with her about how him and Rudy made up. Also, Aisha who is described by Ruijerd as being a slave driver, probably has had no qualms about criticizing norn for any short comings she may have had during the journey up. That’s not even going into the treatment both of the girls got from their grandma, so overall norn being rude seems almost reasonable.
Wow, It completely flew over my head not just the undertone of Aisha's scene, but her demeanor entirely. I was so focused in the symbolism If what she was saying regarding the Strap and in the conflict between the two sisters that I didn't even see that. Regarding the rest, I don't think any harm was done to the Episode. In my opinion, It was pretty clearly stated that Norn resents Rudeus because of him attacking Paul. She says It herself. People just didn't pay attention
They hate it becos it exposes familly problems that majority of the fans are experiencing... Many of fans have same problems as rudeus or any anime character
I don't think it would make sense to include the Eris part in the episode, it would just be weird. You don't need to adapt anything to 100% precision, especially if you are bound by 20 Minutes episodes. It would be more cool to get another OVA with a bunch of Eris scenes that bulk up over the course of the next volumes.
3:40 People hate Norn? Was not expecting that. In the comment section of my country, many seems to hate Aisha instead, which is very frustrating since Aisha is my favorite female character in MT. If I have to guess why people show more sympathy to Norn than Aisha, I think it's because the situation Norn is in is more relatable because in Asia parents like to compare you with someone who is more talented, that sort of things, and not many people can relate to Aisha who, yes is probably smarter than Norn by nature, but have to work very hard to become the so-call genius everyone know her to be. The people who hates her always point to the thing they heard out-of-context (what Aisha did in the future) to invalidate all the efforts she had put in while refusing to acknowledge that it was her circumstances that led her to do what she did. To me, Aisha lives a sad life, one of the saddest in MT and I think she deserves a happier ending
Aisha is just a better character imho. Norn greatest perk, her easy to relate "normalness", was also her biggest curse that put her out in to the spot light like a sore thumb being surrounded by much more interesting characters. I remember being indifferent toward her as a character especially during the later parts that all I can remember of her is : A girl with severe daddy issue that married to "HIM".
I love Mushoku Tensei so much, but I’m so annoyed that the anime has now just passed the manga. I’m going to have to buy the audiobooks to get ahead, because I’m not reading a novel.
I read the whole light novel series before season 2 aired, and I still hated Norn. You would imagine that by growing up, she would understand a thing or two more about what happened back then with Paul and stuff. Her acting the way she does towards Rudeus does indeed make her childish and petty. Also, I am against any and every type of censorship and I always hate when they change things just to make life easier for the "softer of heart". Snowflakes will hate everything regardless, or will find reasons to hate things because that's the way they work. I would say instead it's quite paradoxical to keep censoring and softening things. Some years ago it was "you either watch this or you don't" and I think that's how it should be.
People, who don't understand Norn, are braindead. In reality, Rudeus to her is like distant cousin of whom your only memory is beating your only family member. There is no way she would be happy to see him and even live with him
I enjoyed season 1 of the series. However, after completing it, I delved into the Light Novel series. I picked up where the anime concluded in season 1, so I skipped the part of the book that covered the events of that season. As I've been watching the second season, I've found myself somewhat disappointed, mainly due to the removal of many scenes from the book. Without the context from the initial novels, I initially viewed the anime as a fantastic story. But now, having read the source material and comparing it to season 2, the anime feels rushed and disjointed. This has left me feeling confused. I wonder if season 1 would have had the same impact on me if I had read those books beforehand, or if season 1 of the anime was simply a superior adaptation. Do others who read the original source material experience similar issues? I don't typically read a lot, so I'm curious about others perspectives.
Having re-read from part 1 I can say that season one did a good job trying to fit in as much as they can from the novels. But they still cut out important pov and world building that helps us readers understand the characters better. If you don’t have context the anime isn’t bad but after reading it you definitely notice that the anime rushed a bit especially in season 2. For example Eris POV is completely cut out so if you didn’t read the books you had no idea where she even is.
i thought i was tripping cuz i felt like she was borderline flirting with rudeus, and then i saw that post and a light bulb went off. also i understood Norn's feelings towards rudy. she even spells it out for reijurd, "this guy was a jerk and beat up my dad, thats all i remember of him. and i dont remember sylphie at all". shes forced to live with a complete stranger and a person she sees as an abusive jerk. and i could be imagining things but it looked like she was slowly warming up to rudeus. at least more intrigued by him.
Im qn anime only forbthe series and I honestly don't see how people can see Norn as a bratty sister, if they just care to remember what happened in epiade 16 of season 1.
It’s mostly the window shopper casuals who don’t really invest into the story enough to think more than past their noses. It’s the problem we have to deal with, now that Anime is mainstream.
Yeah, people are extremely forgetful. But I also understand because you watch the episodes weekly and then you usually have to wait a year or more for another season, whereas I read volumes 8-24 in the span of 2 weeks which is equivalent to about 68 episodes of anime. The problem is that people don’t even consider the fact that they forgot some key detail from earlier in the anime and so they interpret things incorrectly. Paul said flat out in the letter that she doesn’t like Rudy and she’s also not as bright as him or Aisha. Considering that statement, she hadn’t really acted bratty at all. She just misinterpreted his words due to her own biased assumptions about him and otherwise as been pretty respectful. When he talks to her she’s mostly either silent or just says okay. That doesn’t come across bratty to me.
@@BuddyChy Listen. I watched a 1000+ anime, have StPD, and barely rewatched Mushoku Tensei, but I still remember the fight Rudy had with his dad. It’s very easy to make excuses to the fact that you never paid any attention. I personally don’t think the fight is something you can just up and forget, since it was an iconic scene in the story. Forgetting it isn’t a matter of lack of intelligence, it’s a matter of lack of commitment to the story you are consuming.
@@danielantony1882 I think moreso people forget the Norn was there during that scene and that is her scarred first impression of this strange man that is apparently her older brother.
Norn didn't meet Rudy until she was 5, had lost everything except Paul, and it wasn't exactly a pleasant introduction. Its no wonder she doesn't want to live there after those few days she met him at time
I don't hate Norn she's a normal child unlike the rest of the crew. She's overwhelmed and Rudeus nailed it. She still resents Rudeus for attacking Paul. She totally lacks context of why Rudeus wails on Paul for lettting himself go. Aiesha needs her ass whooped for how she is acting. Clearly she is the more mature of the two but is overbearing.
Honestly I can't say that I like or dislike Norn. I am waiting with the verdict until later. It looks like there is going to be development with her in the future and I want to wait for that.
This is why we can’t have nice things. The moment that an anime assumes that their fans are smart enough to understand the character’s personalities off of past context, anime fans complain that it doesn’t make sense… like, what? All it requires is a bit of thinking to show why some characters don’t like others.
Can someone remind me the age of some of the important characters in this arc (at least Rudy and his sisters) ? I feared to search for it myself because of spoilers.
even from the anime i understand norn cus rudy did destroy his dad in a fight right Infront of her so her only memory of him is just someone who beat up someone she loved
Nah. Norn wasn't bratty. I went back to watch parts from season 1 when she was reintroduced and her journey with Paul. Being away from her father for so long has to be nerve-wracking. And she is living with her brother who she doesn't have a good opinion of. He's violent and a degenerate who plays around with women. At least that's how he appears in her mind. And like you said, Norn doesn't get along too well with her sister. Living away from home was probably best for her. I'm anime only. So if someone else is not seeing this too then they are just not paying attention.
Nothing wrong with this episode. But FOR SURE, Norm looked like a moron brat. I saw many thumbnails on youtube saying how awesome this character is, so I was a bit surprised. Of course her first take on the brother would be the fight against Paul, but It was a while ago and he always treated her right. Let's not forget: children are very adaptable and change mood quickly.
Do you need to explain that anime is messing some parts from novel or manga each time? I mean you can just go on with the messing parts and go explaining them, it's not the first anime to do this you know.
Aisha´s main issue is her love for her family goes too far and she does not respect boundaries, at all. Which is also later in the LN a MAJOR issue. To such an extent that the author was forced to rewrite parts of the LN.
I did not hate the kid for having beef with her brother. I've understood that he had a lot of horrible rumors, and he was nice one minute, and brutally beat their father, right after seeing him years later. I did not think about the inferiority complex until I saw how she was average in intelligence, and talent, with her sister being a genius, and her brother being a genius who had potential nobody had seen before. (well besides the legends)

Norn Pov chapters are really good. It puts a different perspective to things from the eyes of a normal person in the series.
She has the best pov chapter in the series imo so I’m not surprised
I'm an anime only and i understand Norns and Aishas Character. Paul said in the Letter that Norn and Aisha don't like each other. So it was cleary mentioned in the Anime. People really need to pay attention and use their brain.

I could watch a whole slice of life series of mushoku tensei
Well, the university arc its literally a slice of life arc xd, and when he returns from **spoiler** that maze, the story went back to slice of life for a little bit
Well it is a slice of life series now. It's why I have lost interest. I still keep up with it but season 1 was so much better man
@@thegoldencacheIt’s always slice of life. The adventure is just icing on the cake. If that’s all you’re waiting you’ll be disappointed.

Aisha on the other hand...
@@visoth7791 Oh boy. Let the innocent ones remain unaware. Im not even 100% sure what you are referring to will be considered canon by the end.
@@peterhong7090 the volume should be out in Japan now. Kinda hope he keeps it in just to fuck with the readers.
@@visoth7791 I mean in the bathroom, Aisha tempted want to brush his eggplant
@@BuddyChy Yeah, you have a point.
This is why reading the light novel gives more content to their relationship.
Been missing your coverage of Spice and Wolf. Happy to see more Mushoku Tensei. Thank you.

Rudeus might need to intervene to help her, I am not sure how though.

i think Aisha is trying to flirt and miserably fail may i add cuz of her mother, she literally trained the little girl to be Rudi's maid in the future, and the little girl takes the example of a maid from her mother, basically a part time maid part time concubine, idk what the intentions of her mother are but that is dam weird, even if they weren't related the whole concept is weird, but now that they are even related by blood, it is even worse.
she wants them to marry ig

I hate Norn, and love Aisha.
Aisha is just a better character imho. Norn greatest perk, her easy to relate "normalness", was also her biggest curse that put her out in to the spot light like a sore thumb being surrounded by much more interesting characters.
The thing is,norn is normal, aisha that is the Genius

She totally lacks context of why Rudeus wails on Paul for lettting himself go. Aiesha needs her ass whooped for how she is acting. Clearly she is the more mature of the two but is overbearing.
Let em cook. I feel like they're probably gonna showcase Norn's perspective soon so we understand her more
Honestly I can't say that I like or dislike Norn. I am waiting with the verdict until later. It looks like there is going to be development with her in the future and I want to wait for that.
Aisha wild
This is why we can’t have nice things. The moment that an anime assumes that their fans are smart enough to understand the character’s personalities off of past context, anime fans complain that it doesn’t make sense… like, what? All it requires is a bit of thinking to show why some characters don’t like others.
The anime tomes things down so ppl wont detest it on a principles standpoint
Can someone remind me the age of some of the important characters in this arc (at least Rudy and his sisters) ? I feared to search for it myself because of spoilers.
Norn is a brat, she might have reasons for being one but that doesn’t mean she’s not
im just curious how far is the anime into the Light Novel? (Like which volume of the LN are we on with the anime)
LN #11
even from the anime i understand norn cus rudy did destroy his dad in a fight right Infront of her so her only memory of him is just someone who beat up someone she loved
So if someone else is not seeing this too then they are just not paying attention.
i feel that most of the ones that hate norn, are anime only. if they read the novels, hopefully it'd change their outlook on her
I think they'll give the next ep from norn's POV like in the manga
The negative reactions to Norn are a child's reaction. Surprise surprise.
