Great video. I did all the steps but however I don’t have the Profile icon on the top right and could not find my business account when I search again. I could still see all the account info , pins etc. just would not come up in my Pinterest search.
Hey Martin, so you can change your country settings to the US in your account settings. But I think as long as you create content in English and use keywords relevant to US customers, your pins should already get distributed to international Pinterest users. You can check your analytics to get more insights into where your audience is located in.

Hey Jacob, if you're planning to use Pinterest for business purposes, then I would recommend a business account. For bloggers, a business account tends to make more sense as you get analytics, you can upload videos, and so on. Also, the business account is free, so ... :)

This depends on your goal. Do you just want to use Pinterest for fun, then create a personal account. If you intend to use it for business, then you can start with a business account from the beginning.

Hey Victoria, so I believe that this selection doesn't actually affect how your account is set up. I believe Pinterest uses this to gather information and to send you more targeted emails. So from my perspective I wouldn't worry about it. :)

I had a personal account with Pinterest and I changed it over to business, it has a lot of my personal pins that I like not pertaining to the business. Can I transfer those pins to a personal account? How do I do it?
I've not heard of an option to transfer the pins to a different account. But, what you can do is turn the boards that are no longer relevant to your business into "secret boards." You can still see them, but you're audience can't. You can turn this on and off in the individual board settings.
I don’t see the red plus sign and my screen looks different from yours. I only see the business tab, create, Analytics, Ads, the search bar, bell notifications, the 3 dots and my profile picture. Please help me.
hey, i also dont see a red plus sign on mine BUT i found the create pin button, check on your bottom right screen, there should be a gray plus sign. i think its the same thing.
So Pinterest is constantly changing the layout of everything. Sometimes it even looks different for people in different regions. So if you click on your profile image in the right corner, you should get to home. On that page, below your header, profile etc. you should see two tabs: 1) created 2) saved. Click on "saved". Here are all your boards. On the right side, above your boards, you should see a black + sign. If you click on that sign you can choose "board" to create a new one. I don't know why they've changed this to be honest. It's much more complicated. But you know... Hope this helps.
