Hi Scott, thank you for showcasing this Script. I have been enjoying your channel for a while now and appreciate the hard work you have put into your channel. Always keep going. Your video of the Script seems like you missed a lot. I do understand that it takes a tremendous amount of time and energy to make videos, so not a biggy. I thought I would point out some items for you and those who uses the script. The Caution / Warning Duration, this is meant to only take effect, if the Media Source properties has the playback set to ‘Loop’. This is because the media source will be switched off if playback ends, but if its on “loop” it will never stop playing, thus the duration feature. If there are issues then please report it on the Forum Discussion for the script and it can be looked into. You don’t need to restart OBS when adding new sources, instead, all you need to do is click the ‘reload script’ icon. This will refresh and load all new sources for selection by the script. The reload icon is located on the script panel, next to ‘Add’ and ‘Remove’ script icon. There are a ton of other really cool features the script offers that I really hoped you showcased ): Such as the “Next Scene Feature” as it offers the ability to rotate sources and scenes in countdown mode when the timer expires. Please can you DM me in OBS Forums if you like to discuss the script and what it offers? Keep up the good fight!
Hello scott , i am having trouble putting my social media call outs which are made in webM files, to make them show up every 30 mins automatically , any idea how can i do that on obs ?
Hello, I was touched by your advanced stopwatch. I want to use it well, but I can't, so I ask a question in poor English. I need to use the stopwatch function, but I want to print the playtime on the obs continuously. In other words, if you did it for 2 hours and 40 minutes until yesterday, the stopwatch should start from 2 hours and 40 minutes today. But I don't know how to set it up. When the time is arbitrarily modified in the ob text setting and the stopwatch is started, it is always initialized. Is there any way?
I am having a tough time trying to download the script like you had in the video. Every time I click download, it opens a new tab that says 404 on github. I dont know what to do and need help
Hello, How to get the stopwatch to keep goin in minutes and not go back 00 when it hits 60 minutes. I am trying to have a count up for only seconds and minutes
Wish you showed the product either in the begging so we know if it is something we want to add to our OBS or at the very least in the end. Great stuff though. Thanks for the info.
I am trying to use the same script twice, I am not able to add it to two different text. I tried making a copy of script with a different name, it crashes my obs studio. What can be done?
I know this doesn’t relate to this video but wondering if you could solve my delima - in my opening scene all i have is my overlay with countdown timer and media source playing some music but if i were to talk to a guest I have on people could still hear us talking before i go to the main scene I there a way i could still talk to guest while countdown is going during that scene so people in chat cant hear us until I switch to the main scene?
BGG, that's totally doable. So create a scene that contains the sources for your video/audio feed, and the guests video/audio feed. Now embed that scene into the countdown scene. Now simply drag off the video embeds from the the countdown view port. BOOM done.
Hi, I've seen many different timers, and tried some I've noticed that you can't stop and restart it how ever you want. Do you know a plugging that allowing you to have countdown timer or multiple for sessions. Thanks.
This is awesome, thank you. I am going to be using this for streaming pool (billiards) matches, and would love to use this as a shot clock. I'd love to display it as a colored bar rather than text... is this possible? Do you know a way to do that, if this one doesn't work? Great stuff, thank you!
Hi Scott - thanks for the tutorial - is there a way that the timer can be used for HIIT (exercise classes) ie - for a 9 minute duration of 40 seconds on and 20 seconds of rest? Thank you
Well, another cool easy to get tutorial from Scott. Thank you! I wonder if there a script that helps automatically switch on a source for a given period of time and then switch it off when time is over? For example, I got three news tickers with different time length which are supposed to appear in the lowerthird one after another. The important thing is they have to strart, show ALL infromation they have and then be gone to let the next ticker come in with the same manner. Is there anything to handle this task? The Source Switcher by Exeldro is not a good solutions as it doesn't manage time intervals for each source individually.
Mansuleasy, do me a favor fill out the survey, this is a open ended question that allows you to enter "other software that you'd like to learn" Fill it out here forms.gle/5fzk9GxjAzzwXzeo7
whatever you are going to teach, please make sure you give the practical example of that thing by showing in start of every video. I found all of your videos theoretical in the start of the videos

Do you know a way to have say a star alert for facebook that starts a 2 minute timer, then if the stars get sent again the timer adds 2 minutes again?
I am having a tough time trying to download the script like you had in the video. Every time I click download, it opens a new tab that says 404 on github. I dont know what to do and need help

Please send me details of presenting the speaker on the top of OBS.
Venu, can you provide more detail on this. If I talk about it in a video shoot me a time stamp so I can zero in on what you need.
Wish you showed the product either in the begging so we know if it is something we want to add to our OBS or at the very least in the end. Great stuff though. Thanks for the info.

I hotkeyed it. There's an option in the hotkeys to start or pause the timer!
idk if its because of updates or what but my version doesnt have any of these features in Advanced and the script in general seems to be freezing OBS
same here my obs doesnt have all the options he has

@@net0x206 Change the configuration to from basic to advanced and change "timer settings" from hidden to expanded. Then you should see Timer Source

I never dug into it but I'm sure that's possible. Did you take a look to see if they are in there?
Yes, the Script supports Hotkeys. Just set them in the Hotkey Section

My OBS crashes whenever i try it, it's really sad for my Football channel.

Not bad at all but at the end i miss the most importent thing for a TimerTuT - --> Hotkey - Settings -.- so its a 7 / 10
This reminds me of why I dont like OBS. I need to go through many hoops to do something I get with 1 click on paid screen recorders.
