Become the easy thing to clown on this kid but I believe in him. Gotta start getting comfortable really getting shots and jumpers up so his real, special playmaking instincts across 48 minutes come through; can’t just be Ricky Rubio or Rajon Rondo anymore in this league IMO. Someone like Daishen Nix finding that out the hard way. And Rondo could defend + rebound the shit out of the ball, he would have adjusted.
JHS should see how Ricky adapted his game in later years to become a more aggressive scorer off the catch and take inspiration from that. He’s a point guard but even if he can’t score enough to play point in today’s league he’s gotta master the opportunities he can get playing offball at least. I never loved point Ricky at NBA level in the halfcourt at least but later years he was an elite offball player on O at the least IMO.
JHS shot looks clean. Some nice takes too; Dom Barlow will play in the league for years so scoring over him with the strong takes and floaters is something at least. Keep building!
His verticality and finishing is a bit worrisome for a point guard his size, but he should be able to fix that given enough time. The other issue is shooting, and he has to get that down pat if he wants to stay on the Lakers.
His layup package won't work in the NBA. That will get eaten up even by the worst big men in NBA.

I believe in JHS some of y'all Lakers fans don't understand basketball they rookies aren't supposed to be playing g league and then you give up on them the Lakers need to develop they young players get them on the court asap to give them playing time knock the training wheels off JHS can be a dark horse different marker he's ready to be in a rotation and give him a simple roles for the Lakers give him the opportunity to show them
