This played at my friend’s funeral I was in grade 9 and he was a youth leader at my church my parents had to chase me around the church at the end of youth group because I wanted to hangout with him more he was a nerd like me and just a amazing person to everyone who met him. But unfortunately he had cancer and he passed away. At his funeral so many people were there and I got to talk to so many people I care about. This song made me cry when I heard it. Despite the pressure, the nasty classmates or even the lousy teachers (but I'm sure you have one or two good ones,) school can give you a way out of whatever family, or personal mess you may have. Hi there . I'm a teacher, or rather I was a teacher, but now I'm retired.
When I was young I was a very good student. But not because I'm particularly smart ......I just worked very hard and studied a lot. Because I came from a broken home, I felt that school was all I had. And for the most part, it was.
The point I want to make is this : you may FEEL stupid but you are NOT stupid. Rather than harm yourself, and see school as a WEIGHT, see school as a WAY.
Despite the pressure, the nasty classmates or even the lousy teachers (but I'm sure you have one or two good ones,) school can give you a way out of whatever family, or personal mess you may have.
In the end, school and study are for YOU and YOU alone. Learning helps to make life easier, believe me. And..............get back to me, okay ?
