Best hikes in DEVON - ILFRACOMBE to WOOLACOMBE - SW Coast Path National Trail

- Join us as we continue our 630 mile hike of the South West Coast Path National Trail in England. In October 2023 we spent a long sunny weekend in Devon, with the aim of completing further stages of this amazing route. In this vlog, we commence our route in Ilfracombe, heading for Woolacombe, a route of 9 miles plus. Some of the best views of Devon coastline can be admired on this stretch of the SWCP.
We plan to complete the entire route over coming months between work and everyday life, plus for logistical reasons, we may complete different stages of the route and fill in the gaps as we go along! We’ll share the entire route, interesting points of interest, plus if we feel it appropriate, we’ll also point out recommended accommodations and places to eat!

Hello my dear friend, thank you so much for showcasing this hiking vlog showcasing the beautiful scenery of devon with us! I really enjoy seeing this wide open landscapes! The coastal shore looks actually stunning! I am sure there is lots to discover but i can also imagine it to be exhausting hiking on all the hills! But the weather couldn‘t be any better! I have done a few sections of the SWP & this section I have always fancied . It looks a great walk and that coastline is stunning, so rugged . Looked eck of a pull out of Ilfracombe - I would have been panting heavily for sure and then seeing the pull out of Lee Bay I am thinking that's a toughie. As Elaine says it looked a perfect day for hiking weatherwise. I think the Damge Cliffs is borrowed from the name of the village Damage Barton nearby? Cracking watch, really enhoyed that - thanks both.

Loved that Simon - wow the SWC Path is incredible mate - I know coastlines can be like that but you chose a great section to share with us. And in the best hiking conditions too. I see the swimmers out in October - hats off like. Well, good going the end there too. All the best. Mark
