Just purchased the Brake Free. Loved the concept. Attached to my Shoei RF1400 per instructions. No problem with device attaching to helmet mount. Clicked into place and squarely mounted. But found there is a wiggle or slight movement of the Brake Free device on the helmet mount that exists that really bugged me. Every time I bent over, went over a bump or turn my head quickly I heard and felt the Brake Free through my helmet. Emailed the nice folks at Brake Free and sent it back. Apparently the specs of the helmet mounts needed to get a nice snug, is slightly off. They indicated awareness. This might be as a result of a particular run of these mounts or this wiggle always existed and is not an issue with users to this point. It is for me. Too bad. Because I like this device. But not accepting a jenky fitment that isn’t firmly interfacing with the helmet mount. I will get back with them after a while and specifically ask about this issue. They are a small enough company and my communication gas been with ownership. They will be familiar with the conversation. 🙏🏼

Sure the Dualtron Thunder got 4 braking lights but not everyone looking down. This light perfect for when I’m just cruising around, do deliveries or on a ride.
Only thing I'm worried about with this is that the light diminishes shortly after stopping, which to drivers means you're going again. This could be dangerous if they start inching forward and you think they're paying attention. If you get this, stay just as attentive with it on as you would be with it off.
Really nice looking & appears super functional. I commuted for 5 years in Chicago, and lights were always key for my ride home at night. Had one on my bike seat post and one on my bag, plus 2 upfront for me to see where I'm going - woulda used this for sure.
The brakefree light is awesome but someone like me who owns the 3R helmet by Bell with all those vent holes may find it impossible to mount unless if there was a little threaded rod that screws into that mounting plate then goes thru the vent hole & threads into something like a "T" shaped bracket that goes inside the helmet but behind the safety cage, than gets tightened from the outside against the outside borders of the vent hole within the helmet and outside the helmet kinda like sandwiching the helmet between the 2 mating pcs, that would make a nice platform to mount the light & would undoubtably fit more helmets that have a vent hole that are dead center on the back of those Bell helmets. 😜👍 But you know magnets will work! Just saw that alternate mounting option
Its a great idea and a nice product, but I wince at the price of nearly £100 GBP. You can find good lights to fit a helmet without the brake light feature for a tiny fraction of the price this costs. Given that it is limited production it seems a fair price, but its not going to appeal to mass market without a substantial drop to make it more affordable. For those that can afford one, then you should buy it as its a great product.
I just ordered one. I keep seeing people complaining about the price point though, which is super strange to me. As a photographer, almost every small little accessory I get is around $200, but none serve as great of a purpose as the Brake Free light. It's an extremely cheap insurance.
I definitely think this is cool and definitely has a mass appeal. It's a bit of a house for OW/EUC/ESK8 riders though, would love to eventually see a more compact version that works better for those types of helmets. I ride with compact bike tail light that that is very bright day or night, it does the job for me but looks clunky in comparison. The asking price is fair considering all the 301 tariffs and low first production numbers vs. the quality these will have to be to survive infancy in the market. Smart retailers have to build in a "no questions asked" warranty into the cost. I wish them well and perhaps I'll consider one?

I hope they add your " CHANGGANG" as a discount code or you get some kind of commission established. I watched one of your videos where you we're humble enough to admit that there are things that you don't know, but that you are ready to learn. I like your Venn diagram explanations. Looking forward to you researching ways to track a stolen or lost One-Wheel. Small devices that could be hidden and activated for a fee. Also, I think it would be cool if the creators made something similar to attach to the front of a helmet that has red LEDs in a motion pattern and optional sounds that mimics the black car from Knight Rider, Kit! It could also have an adjustable angle white LED strip to illuminate the road for a practical use. The red light pattern should have a remote way to activate it so the One-Wheel rider can choose when they want to show they are serious. 😍😮
We're taking notes on all the feature suggestions. This product was designed with the motorcycle market in mind. We will be making a product tailored to the bicycle/e-skateboard/EUC/scooter market. Thanks for the feedback! Keep the ideas coming.

super impressed. just from a visibility standpoint alone, i think it's great. i'd love one. i think a model that could somehow figure out how to make turn signals for L & R would be amazing, but other than a handheld controller i don't know how that would be possible. not sure the gyro would be able to be that discerning.

Ive seen a ton of lame accesories..this one is extraordinary. Battery life is so so, and i wonder how these led lights uses that much energy to work, but the general product is wonderful. im just missing a native way to attach it to a backpack. Great review.
So indiegogo campaign started in 2017, it says its expected to ship in November 2019(last month,) but campaign page says it hasn’t decided on the final design? Pretty shaky for a company to have a product launch like that. I’m interested still, but when will it ACTUALLY SHIP?

Looks like a great product I’ve been debating it for almost a week now. The price tag is a bit much I think. Especially if also purchasing extra mounts for multiple helmets. There are way cheaper alternatives at a fraction of the price.

Super interesting, and I’m on board... eventually. Already heavily financially invested in this Onewheel so far, and another $150.00 is gonna have to wait. Hopefully the price drops as they get out of development and off their IG campaign. I’ve already paid a few hundred on safety alone, after buying the OW itsself.
Great product. I would have like to of seen a usb c charging port though. It's the new standard of charging. But otherwise, awesome! Put it on Amazon so I can buy it!
1. At this price point it needs to have a small remote, that you can mount or hand hold, that lets you make the light act as a blinker for making left or right hand turns. 2. As it is the price point has a lot of profit margin built in to it or cost of manufacturing is just now low enough, that's if you want to capture market participants other than just motorcycles. 3. I'll pass for now unless 1 or 2 are incorporated.
I love it. But I will not pay 163 CAD for it. With great respect, I understand a lot of work went into its design but this seems like a 50$ product if mass produced. And pls dont give me that spiel "you can't put a price tag on safety". Wish them all the best. Cheers
8 to 10h of riding and then it takes 2h for a charge, and that's just to power up some leds, for 130 bucks a pop! I saw this on shark tank and i thought it's something i would definetly buy. It's patented, which is anoying because others would definetly do a good job about that battery.

super impressed. just from a visibility standpoint alone, i think it's great. i'd love one. i think a model that could somehow figure out how to make turn signals for L & R would be amazing, but other than a handheld controller i don't know how that would be possible. not sure the gyro would be able to be that discerning.
Hi Jimmy, do you have discount code or free shipping code for Brakefree??

Ive seen a ton of lame accesories..this one is extraordinary. Battery life is so so, and i wonder how these led lights uses that much energy to work, but the general product is wonderful. im just missing a native way to attach it to a backpack. Great review.
So indiegogo campaign started in 2017, it says its expected to ship in November 2019(last month,) but campaign page says it hasn’t decided on the final design? Pretty shaky for a company to have a product launch like that. I’m interested still, but when will it ACTUALLY SHIP?
Alex said it starts shipping in January. Just around the corner.
@@freshlycharged First half in January 2020 the timeframe of shipping out-- if memory serves according to CEO Alex's earlier email to all beta testers.
I have the Beta Test unit here in South Africa and putting it through its test paces on my Ninja 1000SX, and it does what is says on the box. Pretty damn impressed. Even dropped it (1m height) off the bike seat on a hard paving; hardly a scratch and still working.
Hey Jimmy! I'm a euc Rider who often rides on the street in traffic. I was just wondering after X amount of time using it. Is it still something you use/recommend?
Will this work with electric skateboards though?
Can I install this on my body armor as well or does it have to fit on a helmet. My helmet is already light designed how I like, but this would be ideal for my back plate.
What is the site again? Any coupon code?

where can i get this?
pretty expensive but am actually interested in picking this up as getting lights on a scooter or any low profile personal vehicle is a loosing battle but this seems very nice ill pick it up when i upgrade to a full face helmet
Looks like a great product I’ve been debating it for almost a week now. The price tag is a bit much I think. Especially if also purchasing extra mounts for multiple helmets. There are way cheaper alternatives at a fraction of the price.
Jimmy, is there any discount codes? Or some sort of a military discount? This is a nice safety addition for sure i just can’t justify the price at this time. I appreciate your help. Great technology though! 👍🏼🤙🏼

That code, 'SHARKTANK', is invalid. Got another one, perhaps?
Hello thanks to your video .. how to buy this product thanks for your answer
Nice
Actually they're Canada Geese, not Canadian Geese.
Of course it's out of stock, man I need this
They won’t ship it outside the us
ADD OPTIONAL DIRECTIONAL TURN SIGNAL
thx for the video, the code didnt work for my neither :( im gonna research around for another one
My name is sham from malaysia..i bought 2 unit brake free and its was awesome....smarter way to been seen
Be safe! Love Malaysian food.
Good to see the two of you engaging in entrepreneurship instead of crying socialism. Awesome job. Keep up the great work.
Still not shipping.
What a good idea
Great product. I would have like to of seen a usb c charging port though. It's the new standard of charging. But otherwise, awesome! Put it on Amazon so I can buy it!
I need one off these I was almost hit by a car
Would be great...if the product ever actually became available to consumers, let alone people who paid for it FOUR YEARS AGO on IndieGoGo.
I saw one on a motorcycle helmet, it's pretty good, but price needs to come down a notch...
Probably way cheaper than a trip to the ER though….
Sold!!
I wish it had turn signals
Float safe!
Great stuck jimmy
Indian rupees???? How much
Just another thing to charge!! Cell Phone/Air Bag Vest/Go-Pro’s/ I-Watch/Ear Buds, no wonder it takes forever to actually go for a ride!!!
Cheers
Hopefully in the future, these things will get mass produced.
i wish it used usb c instead of micro usb...or if it had both that would be cool
Ok, I am ready to test this unit! Let's give it day-in-Day out motorcycle riding. Please message me and I have some ideas.
8 to 10h of riding and then it takes 2h for a charge, and that's just to power up some leds, for 130 bucks a pop!
I saw this on shark tank and i thought it's something i would definetly buy. It's patented, which is anoying because others would definetly do a good job about that battery.
Im frm India nd I want to order one for my helmet
