I owned one. Played it for 2 years and sold it. I bought another on and Played it for a year. and sold it. I bought another one and it’s one of my fave synths both new and old. I do highly recommend finding and LE or RED because they stay in tune better. The others sound great, but have a little drift that gets better as the synth warms up.
Awesome, thanks for the quick response, one is listed in my area and it seemed like a good idea but I wasn't familiar with the synth (how I ended up here). It seems like one of those synths that somehow sounds full and good out of the box
It sure does! As long as you’re cool with a lack of patch memory and like making stuff from scratch, it’s a wonderful little synth. One of the thickest-sounding modern monosynths I’ve heard in a while!
I own an all white MicroBrute LE and love it. I’m a bassist primarily but this was my gateway drug into the synth world.
Still got mine,5 yrs later.still works.goes great CV gated to Moog Werkstatt.Almost sold it but....nahhh.

i’m getting one today! are those patches you downloaded to the synth or were you playing presets?
The Microbrute doesn’t actually have patch memory, so all the sounds in the video are made from scratch. Hope you enjoy yours, it’ll be a blast!
@@PulsarGlitchMusic that’s amazing…i didn’t think you could get those sounds out of there …amazing
@@MillsBurray thanks!
What effects for reverb and delay?
My favorites (think I used them on this) are TAL-Chorus-LX and Valhalla Supermassive, both free and sound incredible :)
Is this beauty still being manufactured?🤔
Unfortunately they look to be discontinued. Think I mentioned that in the quick overview of the unit. It’s a shame, they’re excellent little synths!
@@PulsarGlitchMusic Yes they are excellent synths
Worth it used for $180 in 2024?
Absolutely!
