- Pizza Tower Gameplay and Reaction by Mairusu! I was heavily requested to play Pizza Tower, and I can see why! Pizza Tower is a crazy and weird fast-paced platformer that takes elements and inspiration from games like Wario Land, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Metroid, and more! Peppino Spaghetti, a surprisingly agile and powerful fat balding Italian, is on a mission to destroy the titular Pizza Tower in order to save his restaurant from annihilation. Follow him through his rampage across the many wacky floors of the tower, collecting toppings and beating up monsters!

Little tip, the 3 TVs in the menu aren't 3 diffirent towers, they're just save files.

A year late, but it's honestly one of the best GAMES in recent times PERIOD, imo
coming from a pt demo player, I can say that you will highly enjoy this game a lot

I would suggest doing all the levels on floor one before moving to floor two and doing so for each sequential floor. Also, each TV is a different save slot.

I've been playing this games demos since 2019, your gonna be in for an absolute treat, visually, gameplsy wise, music wise, in every way imaginable.
I'm very glad more youtubers are starting to play this masterpiece, your gonna love it.
Also, that thing your doing at 13:38 is taunting. Taunting can stall you in the air for a little bit, and if you taunt right when your about to get damaged, you can parry it right back and nullify damage.

@@Mairusu Taunting before getting hit is specially useful in bossfights, i recommend you try that instead of running around the map

Here's some tips that'll help you
-While in your Mach Run and your in the 2nd stage (When you see colors coming off of you) enemies will freeze in fear when they see you coming, which is why your able to kill those Fork Knights sometimes
-You can do a uppercut move when you aim up when doing the grab dash
-That taunt move you did is actually your parry! You can use it on enemies that hurt you like the Fork Knights or enemies that charge at you, but it really be used for any enemy that happens to be right next to you, but you gotta really time it right, it'll be useful for future levels and boss fights
-Speaking of Boss fights, I really recommend you go slow, don't run, utilize your grab dash or uppercut when bosses flash white

This vid was like the one thing that brought me back to your channel lol
The grab dash is *much* more effective at damaging bosses than the mach dash, especially if you need to attack while in the air (like when Pepperman was bouncing around). Keep that in mind for future fights.

Hey here’s a tip. If you wanna try get more control try super jumping and grabbing during the super jump, it’ll shoulder bash you forward in the air and if you want even more control in it hold down during the shoulder bash to dive down like if you was running in the air, it can be super helpful when wanting to reach higher places and keep your speed. Have fun with pizza tower!

Just a little pro tip to deal with some enemies: groundpounding can instantly kill any enemies below you, no matter the fall height, also grab armed enemies from behind to avoid getting hit, for example that cheese knight with a fork
Another hint, when mach running, don't slide. Sliding only stun the enemies, while normal mach running kills the enemies

Note:while superjumping you can shoulder dash mid air like < or >
the pizza lady is called granny pizza
if you hold the direction you're running at the mach 3 after a few seconds you will gain mach 4, which is a MUCH faster mach 3
not by alot but by alot.
there is a P rank, you gotta kill every enemy, get every toppin and get every secret while still maintaining the combo. So just S rank but combo and slightly better score.
the john blocks are only activated and deactivated during the escape after you kill a pillar john
DON'T IGNORE GEROME THE JANITOR YOU NEED HIM FOR THE TRUE ENDING
if you finish the tutorial really quickly you unlock a certain something... 👁👄👁
despite your title that made me think you're one of those "pIzZa ToWeR hAtErS" you're a pretty cool player! and unlike other youtubers don't get stuck at a single area for half a decade.
the tvs aren't different towers, they are different save files.
The different TVs in the menu are just your 3 save files.

Some Tips and Facts:
▪︎ Peppino has a different animation on the TV for Mach Run and Super Mach Run. (I don't know the official name, it's just Mach Run at full speed.)
▪︎Pizza Face will spawn if you run out of time after destroying the John face.
▪︎You will not die as long as you have points. Like in Sonic.
▪︎If you see white sparks emitting off of Peppino, he has an ability that destroys (almost) all enemies ON screen.
▪︎Don't press a button for about 40 seconds on the file load screen and I hope you're prepared for a jumpscare.

Press the top button on your controller to do a taunt. If you have electricity from getting a high combo, (like 10 or so) hold up and taunt to do a super taunt to clear every enemy on screen
Taunting the same time an enemy hits you parries the attack, makes it not hit you, and you damage the enemy.

I have the game and I just made it to the second floor of the Tower, though my average score on the first level is B (oh...OK) so I'll have to go back and try to see if I can't get a better score.
Seriously, you need to be on crackhead demon-timing to get most of the achievements while still maintaining maximum speed and combo-efficiency, trying to avoid getting hurt by enemies which make your combo window go down, while still minding requirements for certain achievements (like making sure not to get hit by Pizza-cutters or burned by tomato-sauce lava in 'Bloodsauce Dungeon,' getting all the Toppins or 'condiment buddies' like tomato, mushroom, pineapple, cheese and whatever the Secret Ingredient per level is, beating all the levels within time limit requirements of usually under 2 or _LESS_ minutes, trying not to receive _ANY_ damage from the bosses of each floor, and so on; sheesh, no wonder Peppino is constantly stressed and neurotic).
But in spite of the high skill-ceiling you need to pick up on, it's nevertheless enjoyable in the same way stuff like _Cuphead_ , _LISA: the Painful_ , and _Wario Land_ are enjoyable: because in addition to the difficulty, it has a kind of warped sense of humor, a chaotic emotional whiplash of randomness that makes you laugh in spite of how you keep losing, since the failures are just as amusing as winning (though actually 'winning' is still more satisfying).

Tip:if you do a grab dash in air and you change direction it will stop the grab dash and change it to the direction you want BUT THE GRAB DASH DOESN'T COME WITH IT JUST STOP IT so if you wanna do it again then you gotta press the grab dash button again

To do, you need to get all topings, all secrets, the secret treasure, do lap 2 times (when you beat a stage, certain rooms have a big pizza with lap 2 over it, when you go through it only when you are on pizza time, you lap the escape again), and keep your combo going for the whole time. Also to p rank a boss, just don't take damage
That’s a lotta to do
Extra pizza tower controls:
Super taunt. If you press up and do a taunt, It will activate a super taunt and kill everything except you on screen.
Parry: If you taunt when or before you get hit, You will parry, hence the name.
Super jump cancel:
If you do a grab dash after the super jump, you'll cancel the super jump and instead dash in the direction you are holding or facing.
Break dance:
It's simple, just hold he taunt button.
That's all I know (So far, since I haven't completed the full game yet), So, goodbye!
Also, If you haven't realized, The part where you are surrounded by 3 monitors is the save select. The devs must've forgotten to put "Save Select" at the top or bottom of the screen.

I'll say as a new player too, instead of climbing up everything with a run, if the platform is a little more above you you can just press jump and grab but hold up during this and the uppercut will be like a double jump. Also if you see enemies underneath you, try ground slamming them since it's also an insta kill
