Excellent - in addition tilt mirrors down for less sky and more road, about level with car roofs behind 👍

I can’t understand why you only have 13.600 subscribers. This is really high quality content and very useful information. I followed you through all of you GT4 journey and can say that the way the channel evolved from the beginnings to now definitely deserves 500.000 subs at least! Keep up the good work!

I get it, some people want just the important parts, that’s why I often provide time links to jump to what you need. However as a person with a background in education I recognize the value of understanding as well as doing. A good portion of my videos are dedicated to helping people learn about a topic so they can make more informed decisions about buying or techniques of install. Then add in some theatrics for a more enjoyable experience and yes videos get a bit longer. Appreciate your views! 👍🏻

I believe it was popular mechanics who published a mirror set up tutorial several years back along with a statistic that some 90% of drivers have theirs adjusted incorrectly.
What PM suggested was to lean your head against the driver’s side glass and then adjust the driver’s side mirror such that you can barely see the car.
For the passenger side, they suggested leaning your melon towards the passenger side glass a similar distance, and doing the same.
This set-up is intended to result in passing cars briefly being visible in both the rear view mirror (on the outside edges) as well as in the side view mirror (on the inboard side).
I’ve set my mirrors up this way, but as I’ve never been passed, can’t personally validate the efficacy of it.
Great video. Shame that so much of the passenger side mirror is hooded when adjusted appropriately.

Oh and thanks for the mirror setting tutorial. I am shocked by how many of my car friends have their mirrors adjusted to seemingly mostly look at their car...

Thanks for the video, really helped changing my 992 driver's mirror with the euro spec. There was this blind spot I couldn't get rid of, no matter how much I adjusted the US spec flat mirror. The reinstall in mine needed a bit more push to "click".

Nice work - I too have been catching up on a lot of car maintenance while we are experiencing this weather... And I need to install some new mirrors on one of my cars too!

Good video. The passenger side mirrors are typically a bit convex. Which is why there's a disclaimer only on the passenger side that states: "objects in mirror are closer than they appear".
