It is pronounced as Paawankhiind
It was ghodkhind.ghod means horse and khind means narrow paasage. This khind was named aptly after the demise of veer baji prabhu deshpande, senapati of chatrapati shivaji maharaj , in the battle of ghodlhind. Due to the bloddshed of bajiprabhu it has been thought to become sacred.

This is the 1st war film in the world whose budget is very low plus completed only in 28 days plus outdoor scenes and war sequences filmed on that respective locations only..This is called excellence.
This film proved that Not always war films required big budget,superstars,visual effects,grandeur-epic sets and more vfx-cgi work...only loyality towards our history,authenticity and quality of content matters.
Stage actors and artists are far far better than so called superstars.
Director Digpal is M.A. in Sanskrit language..he is referring and studying original documents written in Sanskrit over Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for making of his 8 films from 15 years.
This is called Dedication.
Honestly I'm telling baahubali is nothing infront of this film..if he has got that level of budget..I'm 100% sure that he easily made it Mega blockbuster and seated among top directors.

It's really an inspirational story how our ancestors fought with bravery despite having those little number. and later they destroyed the Mughal empire and established bhagwadhari Maratha Empire
