- Next in the series is the GardePro E5 trail camera. I've bought 4 of these now and I love them. Found it in Amazon looking for a cheap fast option. Well, I found it with great pictures and videos, while the night vision is amazing as well. Tons of options and budget friendly!!! The link is below.

I just got my E5S in the mail today. It's sweet! Thanks for the video!
@@JohnSims3 you are very welcome. Thank you for watching.
Good video - nicely done! - my wife purchased six of the GardePro E6 - probably for the Wifi - has the same HD as the E5.
Good choice!
I share your experience. I have been looking for the "Holy Grail" of affordable, reliable, no glow trail cameras. My trail camera journey is short. I started out with under $30 Tasco cameras. Picture quality was quite good for this price point, but they stopped working over time & don't care for IR cameras any more. Thus, I upgraded to Browning Dark Ops cameras. I purchased 4 of them over 2 years. Decent cameras, but none of them work today. Given their initial cost, I was very frustrated. I discovered the Garde Pro E5 last year, & I was instantly impressed. The menu set up is superior to my Dark Ops. My Dark Ops don't even have a large menu screen. Pic quality is superior, night pics are superior, detection range is way better. I tend to run all cameras no higher than 8 MP. Lower MPs are larger & pick up more light. High MP cameras are just a marketing gimmick! My only knock on the E5 (minor & not a deal breaker) is their somewhat smooth back. A little grip on the back of the camera is nice for setting up on a tree. They work fine as is, but it's one little thing I would improve. I purchased two E5 cameras last year, and I have purchased 3 more when I have seen them on sale. The last one was $39.99 with free shipping (Amazon Lighting sale) a couple weeks ago. I am not a Amazon Prime member, & I still received the camera in under 48 hours for that price. I would say the other 4 averaged around $55/camera on sale (easily half the cost of the Dark Ops that have stopped working for me after a year or two). I will end with this. I even like the box these cameras come in. I pack them back in their boxes off season. None of my Tasco or Browning cameras came in nice boxes to store the cameras in. It's just another little detail that I like about the Garde Pro E5. I wish they would leave this model as is!
I agree, that and would be great if it had a stand on the back as well but all in all a great camera for the price. I got 4 now and couldn't be more happy with it.
I think i am going to buy this for my dad.
Thanks for exposing me to this.
Dad willlike to see what varmints are trolling his garden.
They are good to have. Thanks for watching
I got a couple of these on black Friday.
Looking forward to trying them out in Costa Rica and South Carolina to see how they hold up.
Let me know how they do
They must have raised the price... It's almost $70 now on Amazon.
Go figure, it is still worth the $70 though
I just got one yesterday for $39.99 on Amazon
@@JohnSims3 glad to see they are back at that price. Killer camera for the money
@@RedBeardsSurvival I have high priced Browning cams and these seem to be on par with them. I'm gonna buy a few more at this price!
You haven't said anything about battery usage/life and whether there is any opportunity to have a solar PV input... Might help some users
You are 100% correct. I'm going to do a follow-up video about these since I've used them for about a month now. That will be a big topic I talk about. Thank you for watching.
What batteries are you running? i feel like mine burns through them
I am using the Amazon AA batteries. But I adjusted the settings and they are working great now
How long do the battery 🔋 last on standby ,I'm in UK so hello
It all depends on the set up you will use. I have mine set to video and photo with 10 sec video and mine will last at least 2 to 3 weeks. That is also the highest video and photo setting it has for quality pictures. Thank you for watching
Thanks very much I wasn't one for home security reasons
@@user-qk9jp8nd3k you are welcome
Well I dont see no $33 camera here . More like $90. That being said , what is the difference between the E5 and the E5S models ? Is it bluetooth ?
I just looked it back up, and it has jumped in price, big time. I'm not sure what the difference is
@@RedBeardsSurvival Perhaps your review . lol Looking at the Digitgarden camera . Almost the same as the Gardepro E6 with bluetooth. It's $60 . My brother has one and says they are probably are the exact same camera , just branded by 2 different companies .
Just got mine yesterday from Amazon for $39.99
@@JohnSims3 I picked up an Gardepro E8 a couple months ago for $26 and a simular camera last night for $21 . Both new and from an auction house .
@TheSkyPod Nice! The E8 is $119.99 on Amazon. $79.99 for Prime members
