​@@JK-CLOTHINGI'm confused because i tried to make pattern, i followed your video, so when we added 3 inchs for crotch extension and 2inchs for knee and ankle then measure the total with of the pants. It turned out that the pants become bigger. Why is that?

@@jenelynmantubig3892 the pants won't be bigger if you followed and applied to methods and procedures.
Bear in mind that with the front patten, the hip, knee and ankle didn't have any seam allowances and that's what's added to the patterns

Please the 6.5 inches fly extension, how did you arrive at it!

That's the opening from the waist into the hip, such that the model's hip is able to enter the waist. The longer you make it, the easier it makes it to wear it and vice versa.
If it's made too long too it causes it to bulge in the fly area.
So it's advisable to extend the fly reasonably.
I chose 6.5 because it entered the hip just right

Thanks for the comment. Seam allowance was first added to the front waist pattern. The same front waist with the allowance, was traced to the back pattern with a further dart allowance added. That tells you that the back waist has allowance since it was derived from the front waist
When it comes to the back crotch extension, the knee and ankle/bass, there was 3inches, 2 inches and another 2 inches added respectively
Those are the allowances

You may decide to divide the hip measurement by 4. I usually don't use that because it may work for some clients but not all clients

You can move further away by ½ inch or 1 or more if it was small or reduce the 3 inches if it was bigger than the crotch measured

Hope you saw the 3 inches back crotch extensions, then the 2 inches knee, ankle and hem extensions made on the back patterns? Those are the seam allowances in case you didn't notice
