WOW, Lou 🤩 What a great number of easy techniques to use with my re-inkers! I don’t have many but with such a diverse range of ways to use them, I can be busy for hours!😆👍🏽 Thank you for sharing and keep the techniques coming, my crafty friend❣️
Try distress oxide rinkers onto the shiny side of photo paper. I put drops onto acetate, spritz with water and press the photo paper down. You can lift the color a few times and/or add a different colour. Allow to air dry and then, using a baby wipe rub off the oxidization. Fantastic finish. You end up with the base colour used to make the shade Tim Holtz wanted.
Oh what FUN!! I love the ombré butterfly and the gel plated techniques best, but all are terrific. Never thought to use fun foam as my base. TY!! 🧑🏼🎨😀
Wow. What stunning ideas. I love the idea of making our own ink pads. I really have to try that one. Thank you Lou for all of your wonderful inspiration. Crafty Hugs - Dawn 🌅
Wow Lou, what an awesome way to use reinkers. I have never bought them thinking I wouldn't have much use for them, but I have changed my mind! Thanks so much.
Wow..amazing thanks so much..I will try them all…only have 2 reinkers at the moment…but want to try the foam pad first..I have been using my geli plate today with vegetation..fun…using the leaves as stamps on the pulled papers…fun fun fun
Inking foam specifically for a stamp makes sense if you're mass producing that image, but it would be a waste of reinker for one-offs (particularly compared with how little ink you used to re-ink the pad). For a single image, using a blending brush to apply the ink to the stamp would be more economical. I imagine if you store the inked foam in an air-tight container it might be useful for a few weeks (you were vague on how long that would be useful).

You make those little flowers you paint look so easy...😮
I can’t wait to try adding ink to craft foam to make an ombré ink pad. That technique looks amazing! Thank you for all of these great ideas.

Agreed! That's a super fun technique. It's so cool to watch the vibrant colours appear as you wipe it off!
I’ll have to give that a go!!

So fun!! I’ve always wanted to try using my reinkers. Thanks for giving me the confidence to try all these techniques 🤗
Brilliant techniques. Thanks for the inspiration Lou.😊
Great ideas Lou, I don't have reinkers, but I have loads of ink. Sounds like time to play!!
I love the way you painted the flower, mine always look like blobs. You are so awesome. Thank you for your tutorials. 🙂🙂
Great tips Lou!! I have so many re inkers and have not used them this way!! But I will be trying them for sure!!
Great ideas and demo Lou xx
Love all these techniques Lou, tfs. 🩷
Great ideas. I will definitely be trying all of these.
Great video! I can't wait to create my own ombre ink pad! (Runs off to craft room 😂)
I love all the techniques 👏
Amazing options for inks. Thank you so much.
Brilliant tips Lou, thank you for sharing 😊
I was experimenting with re inkers just last night. 😊 wish I'd thought of your foam tip. 😊
Ages ago I bought some grey texture paste that I've never used. Inking it is a game changer. Thank you, Lou. Great alternatives for using our inks. X❤
Great video, Lou, as always! Love them all but especially the stencilling paste technique 😊
I liked the gel paint technique best
I use the re-inkers to colour lace or strips of cotton for my JJ.
Some great ideas. I have not tried any of these, so plenty of play time to have. My favourite is the flower.❤
Love all! Thanks for sharing!
Loved seeing your technique for painting the flower when you were watercoloring. I've not seen the "dot" method before.
Wow. What stunning ideas. I love the idea of making our own ink pads. I really have to try that one. Thank you Lou for all of your wonderful inspiration. Crafty Hugs - Dawn 🌅
Lou, I love your videos. So much better than the five minutes on C&C
I love the flower and want to try it but not sure I will get the gist of it. Also the gelli plate bits will be fun to try.
Wow Lou, what an awesome way to use reinkers. I have never bought them thinking I wouldn't have much use for them, but I have changed my mind! Thanks so much.
Will be trying the gelli plate…
I’ll definitely be making custom sprays!
I want to try the spray bottle one but all really cool
I definitely make my own sprays. And I will totally be trying your craft foam trick because that is brilliant ❤️

Love all the techniques
Awesome thank you❣
I can imagine black texture paste stencilled over a dark coloured cardstock for a Victorian wallpaper look.
Hey Lou , hope you are doing good today. 🙂
I am thank you. Hope you are too?

Wow!
My new distress oxide chipped sapphire reinker is more grey when its without water. Is this normal?
