What strikes me most ..is they both seem so humble and greatfull and clearly in love with eachother..after a life full of attention in the limelights of the world. It truly is an inspiration to see both, relaxed and at ease.

Great couple. Steffi is still so pretty and is a true lady. Such a class act. And Agassi was always my favorite. Not only for his athletic ability but because of how he expresses himself. There is no athlete of his ability and fame that gives a more personal interview. Their children are truly blessed to have these two as parents.

I Agree! Serena is Awesome no doubt! But, put Steffie and Serena both at 20,21 yrs old Steffie would come out on Top! HOWEVER, there's One Player that Was LITTERLY A VICTIM of Just Terribly BAD LUCK!! MONICA SELLES!! At the Time that a Total Nut Case stabbed her in the back ending her career from a Psychological & Emotional state She Was unable to capture her ENORMOUS ABILITY!! But, the Couple years before her Attack she was PHENOMENAL!! TUNING EVERYONE she played!! She put angles on the ball with a two handed Backhands & forehands!! I truly believe she may very well have gone on to win more & more Grand Slams and gone on to become the greatest Female Player!! I remember reading in a Book about The Tennis tour at Nick bolitieri's Academy that even the best guys hated it when they were paired with her as an opponent in Practice drills and play because of the incredibly Sharp Angles she put on the ball! They knew they were gonna RUN!!

Steffi actually doesn't get enough credit. Arguably most dominant athlete of all time. From 1987 to 1996, there were 40 Grand Slams played. Steffi won 21 of them. From 1987 to 1999, the year she retired, there were 52 Grand Slams played and Steffi played in 31 finals. In 1988, the year of her Golden Slam, she won the Final of the French Open 6-0 6-0, losing only 13 points the entire match. Serena is past her in Grand Slams now, but that's only because her career is much longer. Steffi retired at the age of 31, which was normal back then.
Something that always struck me about Steffi is when you see her in street clothes, she still looks like an elite athlete. I honestly think she would have been a great female athlete in any sport she wanted. There are only so many women who awe you with how athletic they look, and she has always been one of them. Just an amazing, all time great, athlete.
And now you see, amazing human being as well.
Shawn N before Steffi and Boris were there German tennis clubs had one million members. After they both became number one it was 2 million members. And it’s still like that. They did so much for tennis 🎾

She was a brilliant runner too. Had the potential to be a track and field star but her tennis ability was obviously even greater.
She was actually 30 when she played her last match. Williams has played 10 years longer and only won one more Grand Slam. Also, Steffi played against FAR tougher competition than Williams who won many of her Slams against people who were totally forgettable. Lastly, she always played with such class and dignity and grace and Williams possesses NONE of those qualities!

I hung out with a mixed American guy (half Korean) when I was maybe 20?, and he spent some time at Nick's Academy one summer; came back and tried to show me Agassi FH to me on one autumn day (he had that Head racquet too, $200 at the time. His dad owned some radio stations in NC et al, so..😂 he could afford all that). Well, as soon as my aluminum racquet touched a massive FH he hit to me, my racquet twisted in my hand, and the ball I hit back perhaps travelled 6 ft. Lol. I felt all the vibrations coming up through from my hand all the up to my elbow..😂😂 That was an Andre FH copycat, but I knew then I had no chance. Haha. Can you imagine the Real Andre FH!!😢😢
