Seeing that someone else had the same reaction as me during totality is comforting because the eclipse was one of the most profound experiences I've ever had. A lot of people would react with just a "Yeah... it's cool..." and I was there being genuinely speechless and waxing poetry of how small we are in the universe. Thank you for sharing this.
I wish I drove up to Vermont. I’m only 5 hours away from NYC. I regret not going outside to see. I was home folding laundry and I regret it big time. I even cried at your reaction.😢😢😢 so glad you guys saw and enjoyed this beautiful event
Loved this video! I’m sorry about traffic and hotel issues! I don’t know if I would have drove but, I think I might already be secretly planning a trip for the 2045 eclipse!
I love that you got to do this! I was in a 94% totality area and I know exactly what you mean with the lighting. Since we didn't get 100% totality, we didn't get the sunrise/sunset effect. I was describing it as the space between dawn/dusk without the sunset. It was so surreal. I know the trees around you didn't have leaves, but around me, all the leaf shadows turned into crescents. Shadows were places where they wouldn't normally be. Like the light was passing UNDER things and the shadows were barely connected to things like my front gate. It really makes you feel like you're just a small speck in the universe.
We drove down to SE Missouri from NE Kansas and it was so worth it. The traffic wasn’t bad. We stopped in West Plains to watch and everyone there was SO LOVELY. We were worried about clouds but it stayed clear enough.
It was such a moving experience. The corona is so beautiful. We saw it in Arkansas. My friend was with us. His wife was in Dallas. She went into totality 9 minutes before we did. It was crazy.
Love that you planned a last minute trip and had the most amazing view! I had friends plan ahead and fly to Texas and they had so much cloud cover but it cleared for a bit during the totality. Your experience eclipsed theirs for sure (lol, pun intended)
We are in Michigan and drove to Ohio for it. Soooooo incredible!!! I don’t know how some people just go na I’ll stay in bed. Especially if they are in the area of 100%!!!!!! So worth seeing it. We definitely had birds doing crazy. In 2017 I was living in Ohio before I moved to Michigan. It wasn’t 100% but I was out there, still so cool!!!!
We watched totality it in our front yard, no clouds at all Southern IL. Was absolutely amazing! Was nervous as it was cloudy and foggy that morning but it cleared out.
Got to watch totality in my yard (Northeast Ohio) with my 12 week old son (had him in a carrier on my chest with a covering over him of course). What an experience.
I was surprised we had such clear weather, I'm in Southern Maine and that happened to be the one nice day in between days of stormy weather. We got 97% totality too, it was incredible!! I hope you'll come back to New England again, we have some tiny little theme parks and boardwalk attractions that are worth checking out.
I flew from TPA to DFW Sunday 5am and left Monday 10pm I’m still trying to catch up on sleep. My hotel was $140 wasn’t bad compared to Orlando hotel prices. But we saw totality at Hillsboro TX and so worth ever penny and lost sleep
We traveled to Texas for Totality in Waco since it was the longest duration of totality. We were constantly monitoring the forecast and cloud tracking. It was looking dire for a while, but I kid you not, seconds before Totality occurred, the clouds completely parted. Unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life. I'm so glad you made this trip!
@@ThemeParkExpress I don’t know if the same is happening to you, but I’m having such a hard time explaining just exactly what I felt and what we experienced. And all I want to do is just go back and see it again. Watching you and your reaction and your experience, is the closest thing to what I felt that day and high key made me emotional at my desk 🥹
Thank you for posting your adventure! Amazing video, really loved it! Saw the total eclipse with my wife and kids from Montreal and it was amazing! Very fun to follow your journey!
I traveled up to Nebraska (from Oklahoma) in 2017 to see an eclipse. There's truly no way to fully describe how awesome watching one is. For this past eclipse, we were supposed to travel down to far SE Oklahoma to see it in totality again, but the clouds were too much of a gamble. The one in 2045 (that I hope to still be alive for) should come straight over where I live.
Loved this video! I am also a new fan and was wondering when you are going on your next Disney Cruise! I love how honest your content and I am soon going on a Disney Cruise! Your DCL content is amazing! Thanks!
Glad to see Buc-ee’s does calm down. Ours here in Colorado opened 3 weeks ago and I have never seen so many people in my life. We decided that it might be another year before we go back lol
We live on the path of totality in Texas and it was so cloudy but luckily they were moving a little and we got to see it some! And seeing it get dark too was so cool!
Great adventure! If you are ever in Vermont again, you have a friend here. If you need a pit stop, refresher or reservation plans fall through, you have a backup if you need it. I live 30 minutes from Burlington. 😀
I live in Cleveland and it got DARK here. Also noticed that the parking lot at a Vet office a couple of streets away from my home was packed with cars the next day. I hope people's fur babies weren't affected by the eclipse.
I love you did a road trip video!! That's how we vacation and I'm loving the Buccee's stop. I am driving through some northern states this summer so I was looking to see if there were any along the way only to find out it's a southern thing. I don't think we have anything equivalent in Canada. The closest I've seen is Flying J's out west and "OnRoutes" in Ontario. But it doesn't seem the same. But seriously, I love road trip videos but so many don't do them well (skip all the actual road part) so I love all the driving bits. I once did the drive from Ontario to Florida but most was done at night. Love the scenery. Trees are my favourite, haha!
The only reason my family does it is for extra room. So if we need a bigger car. Not sure why they did it though. I could see if you have an older car that might be more dangerous to take on a longer drive. I just take another family members car in that case.
@@keatonrjones I’ve heard other vloggers says that they don’t want to put all of the miles on their car. I kind of understand that, but that’s also why you have a car, to drive it places.

As a North Carolinian can confirm: Don't stop at South of the Border. Also, I-95 in NC is trees. I-40 in NC from beach to mountains is the trip 😀
Noted! We will make sure to try that drive soon!
i'd say you have to stop at SOTB. It's so cliche and weird that its a must see lol

Great video. I saw it in Oklahoma. It was about a 5.5 hour drive up from Houston. The next one will have totality in Tampa and Orlando.

We drove by a lot of small parks and attractions we want to check out in the future!
That bridge you showed in JAX is less than a mile from my house! Its some of my favorite views of the city and shipyards! :)

Very very cool! Thanks for sharing :)) I can’t wait to see your Hersheypark video!!
Amazing video. Thank you so much for all the energy and time that you spent making this video. 😊
Wow awesome video! 100% worth the drive. We got lucky in Dallas - the clouds broke and it was clear skies for the hour during the event.
We stopped booking through discount sites after this happened to us, ONLY book directly through the hotel.
This is the first time it’s EVER happened to us!

I’m happy you enjoyed it!
The path of Totality was actually about 90 minutes south west of me in Canada so we boarded a train to head down and see it. Very cool!
Don’t roadtrip through the plains of the Midwest if you thought seeing trees was boring 😅 it’s flat land with zero trees
There's a big wind farm to look at briefly
Hi! I live within in the path and had such an amazing time seeing it in Bertram Texas.
Wow, best eclipse video I've seen. Thanks for sharing the moment with us!
Glad to see Buc-ee’s does calm down. Ours here in Colorado opened 3 weeks ago and I have never seen so many people in my life. We decided that it might be another year before we go back lol
The bucees in Florence was NUTS! But it’s also one of the newer ones so yea it does calm down eventually 😅
We live on the path of totality in Texas and it was so cloudy but luckily they were moving a little and we got to see it some! And seeing it get dark too was so cool!
We live 2 hours West of Albany in central NY and had totality. Sorry that you had that hotel experience.
WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE COMFORTERS???!!!!! We need to know!!! Also did the air fryer get delivered.
We went from Florida to Arkansas for eclipse. We planned it for a year. It was amazing.
I viewed it from Evansville Indiana and it started out cloudy but then cleared up a couple hours before the first bite was taken out of the sun.
Great video as always Adrian. Im bust busting with excitment to see what youre doing next!
I saw in Virginia where we had 85% and it was amazing. Can’t imagine seeing it like this.
LOVED this road trip video
Great Job! Thanks for driving so far. I live in NH and wasn't able to drive up there. Thanks for sharing!

I’ll keep that in mind thanks so much!
Awesome eclipse vlog Adrian! Koda's new nickname-- Snowball Sniper 😂
I love it! Haha!
So nice to see a disgruntled customer not be a Karen!

I got across the bridge a lot.. the dames point bridge! I've gone over it as a carnival cruise ship goes under
That was so awesome!
I totally agree with Koda about that bridge in Jacksonville
Her abs bridges don’t mix haha 😅
amazing and you two are just the cutest xx
Thanks for visiting the Palmetto State (SC)!
yup screw that bridge. almost passed out driving over that bridge.
No, we had a correctly clear forecast in Missouri.
Koda had me cracking up during the eclipse! 😂😂😂
LOL!!! The snowball. Great vlog. 😂
This is amazing footage! 2045 eclipse in Disney World? 🤪
Bucees is the best! The jerky is so good,!
So great! We watched it from Ohio
I hope you had clear skies!
Us too!!! Very clear skies!!!!
Wow you are so lucky. I saw it on tv. I live in Vancouver Canada It was cloudy so I didn’t see it
I’m so sorry you missed it! I’m happy the television coverage was extensive!
I remember Nate went to south of the boarder in one of his videos.
I’ll have to check out his experience soon!
Since the sun & moon travel east to west, did you not think "why is the moon moving from west to east"?
That is so smart...lets go to the Costco parking lot to see a solar eclipse.🤔
I wanted a low crowd experience with none of the hootin and hollerin I saw from the big events during the 2017 eclipse 😅
Always book on the hotel website. Always. Always.
You were just down the road from me. I have a picture I would like to send you.
Man, CostCo really does cover all your needs, huh?😂
the highway is not a tourist attraction lol
Almost as bad as waiting 10+ hrs in line for 3 mins of Hageid's.
I live in the path of totality. I just walked to my front yard. I’m so glad to have experience it first hand
❤ ur vids love u a Koda in the vids would love to know the sandals she has in the video she through the snow at u
So kool 👍.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can someone explain why people rent cars for travel? I’m assuming that Adrian and Koda have their own personal vehicles.

@@Travalingo strange!!
the Carolina's are the two worst states to drive through when traveling up north. like you said, all trees. SUUUUPER boring.
Dam man is the crying really necessary 😑
They left Florida!
God is real!
It was a whole new kind of experience!
