I would have liked to watch this on Eurosport but depite setting my box to record iStages 7 and 8 and the highlights programmes several times all I got was mountain biking and a men's race. Did Europsort actually show it at all?
90km race...come on. That's amateur distance? These women can do so much more. It doesn't take more apparantely to shake things up but this is only like 2,5/3hrs of racing.
Just because they can doesn't mean they should. I honestly prefer the shorter stages, there's less tiredness in the riders so the gaps are smaller and it keeps the race being exciting. There's place for the epic long stages, too. But for both the racing and for the audience who watch the end of the race - regardless of how long it is - shorter stages are better.
ALL about this rider? -- Demi V lost my respect by finishing this way. REAL champions don`t do that. I`ve seen that kind of attitude in cross-country as well (Klaebo). One thing is to be better than others (I can copy - she lost previous season to van Vleuten and now won) and totally other thing to show them - you poor things can`t catch me (nobody around to beat me now). -- And why does UCI tolerate establishing monopolies (like SDE by women)? It is obvious what purpose is behind completing this team with such riders as "they" have (Demi is just the best part of it). In that regard Movistar earned every respect - van Vleuten helped them get better as a team, but SDE just bought together very good riders.
These recaps have gotten so much better and are nearly perfect now, the only thing I’d ask for is please show the final gc standings at the end
And no need for the semi-spoliers in the titles.
True!
no footage of Vollering leaving everyone behind?
Big fan of Marianne Vos but it didn't work out for her, at least i'm happy that she kept the green shirt till the end.

No half measures from Demi this week.

Half of them probably can’t.
